I’m going the opposite way to Ryzo as I’ll vouch for 64bit, what’s the point having a 64bit processor and not running a 64bit OS??.
Yes you have to download different versions of programs but I use my pc for Gaming(when BF2142 runs) and mostly films music downloading the usual stuff and I’m running Vista Ultimate 64bit and don’t have any problems.
Some older games/programs don’t work but to be honest I can’t be arsed with most of them and if I ever felt the need I would just repartition and stick a copy of XP on anyway and run a dual boot.
Anyway that’s me tuppence.

I find Vista perfectly ok nowadays I have just as many problems with XP as I do with Vista so to me there’s no real difference.
Result I always enjoyed a bit of TF2 and for $50 it’s a bit of a steal to get the rest of it as well. Although I must admit I’d still rather play with Kidmans box for $50 though
knights of the nine was a bit pointless but the shivering isles expansion is well worth it. A whole land to explore new weps the usual but a good expansion never the less
Well I finally got on the server last night around 10ish after the baby was asleep, first thing what’s “glitching”?, second of all never seen them before on T/S but a shout out to Magicker and Lis nice to finally meet you.
well if it’s anything like Batman Begins it should be a half decent film. Hopefully they will keep in the fight between Superman and Batman in the film but I doubt it.
Haven’t had chance to play much yet since I’ve got back baby and all, but welcome anyway hopefully I’ll see you soon on the server sometime in the near future(humm when the little one is around 16 I think).
I’ve found BF just as unreliable on Vista as Xp but at least I have new shiny icons so Vista all the way, the only hassle I have had is with some of the gfx setting within Vista but that was more to do with Nvidia than Vista.
