although not a member and have no right to say really what you should play on your server I agree with a couple of points a mixture of both but with less titan maps and the statement about the larger maps but limited to 16 players is good because those maps seems to last a bit longer than 32 players.
I actually live in B13 the Kings Heath/Billesley area and although I can say it’s quite rough I never saw any French film team there, but my missus is French so I’ll ask her. Pretty miffed nobody asked me to appear as a extra but I was busy bricking car windows in for the last couple of weeks. oh well
Gotta agree with Neon myself, doesn’t seem to be as bad at the moment but still 60% of the time the game is so slow it’s unplayable hence the reason I’m not on it so much anymore . This only seems since the patch because I’m a overpaid wanker I have a fairly decent rig including an 8800 card 3 gig ddr2 ram yadda yadda yadda, every other game I can crank right up to nearly max and I get at least 50fps on 1280*1024 but noooooo not BF2142 some days I’m lucky to get like Neon 10-15fps but just to make Neon feel better I did on one day have a rating of 6fps(beat that sucker).
And in my experience of BF the answer is just to wait till the new game comes because EA don’t ever seem to fix feck all. But when it’s good it’s very good, still one of my fav’s to play which makes the current hassles a pain.Must admit, this game is the reason I haven’t been playing BF2142 lately hence the reason I haven’t been around, but none of you feckers have even sent me a message asking how I’ve been, you never write, you never phone…humm had that conversation more than a few times..
I must admit I like the game pre patch and the stupid reason you can’t use your save games has put me off loading it up..
Just got my hands on a G37 last night, makes killing a whole lot easier..
That’s one reason I couldn’t be a cabbie I’m way to aggressive for that, I woudl have been the one going to nick after half murdering a fare..
Oh well maybe this prozac will help…. 😀myself, I quite like it, definately different from the usual toss that is churned out. Gfx are ok , nothing special but the atmosphere is cool and that straight away makes it better than 80% of games out there.
If they release a map editor for it that would really seal it for me.

I must admit the new add-on has perked my interest again in BF2142 especially now th elag seems to have disappeared. Anyway as for last night myself, Max Oldphart and SirPunk were on but it was slow last night and I left around 9.00ish (missus had to be picked up I’m afraid)
hummm takes me back to one night on guard duty at Catterick garrison. there we all were in the guardhouse picking straws to see which unlucky bugger was going to have to do a perimiter check at 4 o’clock in the morning when one of the lads said hey up I’ve got a porno we can watch.
Well as we all settled down to watch some quality porn we all found out this dirty little bastard had a fondness for all things “Mitch” suffice to say I actually volunteered to do the sanga stint.
I used to be a member of the 6th Sense guys around 4 years ago when Vietcong was the big thing good bunch of lads then, they go for the unltra realistic missions..Be nice to go back .
