Been playing this wkd to see what’s what? Hmm initially I was a bit disappointed, the way the soldier runs and moves just doesn’t feel right to me after the more frantic action of BF2. However, I’ve tried it some more and it’s grown on me. I agree with some other comments that the game will become a lot more enjoyable once you’ve full access to unlocks and things. I also hope that some of the other maps are more close quarters based. Gulf was quite vehicle based so I hope that’s how they’ve gone with this one too.
SO far as the Titans go? I agree it would have been fun to go wondering through differently designed ones. I’ve really enjoyed defending them though, ducked down behind a bulkhead near a terminal, popping them full of tasar fire as they rush the corridor. Mint!

I think a 32 player server seems best as others have mentioned too, 64 player ones can lag a hellva lot for some ppl on PCs not much more advanced than 2 wires and a bit of cheese in the middle.
I think you lot should have a scortched earth server. I can donate a Spectrum for it 🙂

I think any long suffering gf currently hooked up with one of the XDC lads should get a vote on principle. The poor girls have to cope with being woke up in the middle of the night while they’re ‘better’ half screams in his sleep about lag, spawn campers, and Oldphatt team killing his side with arty! ; )

When you look at your stats it needs to show you already has having racked up the 100hours+. After much effort and shouts of ‘Ah ya scurvy swin die will ya!’ I finally racked up 44 kills however as my stats hadn’t updated yet it still showed me as 4 minutes short of the 100 mark. Also, I’ve had awards given to me up to 48 hours after I actually achieved it!
I noticed yesterday that when my stats were due to be updated I was in a queue behind 8000 ppl.

Played IO on Jalabad and didn’t really like it. I think it works well on 32 player maps like Karki and Shaqui. Why they couldn’t have had an option to make it ‘lite’ say with jeeps still is beyond me. The whole idea seems half hearted now we’ve got it.
Think I pinched one of the last ones as when I saw your post I refreshed and it said the beta was closed. Downloading the client now to give it a go.
