Yes the 970 is the better deal IMO, plus its fully dx12 compatible and quieter.

Gary is right also, the 970 does have problems with over 3.5gb in some games, its due to the memory being split, it has 4gb but .5gb is slower than the rest.

Plus you can also OC the 970 as well.

Yeah, thats the engine i,m working on, but wether or not I can produce work to that standard is another matter.
