we it was heartbreaking last night as me and doc had to go wondering off into the wilds to find a game after our server refused to get going 🙁

we have a similar setup but no where near as neat and tidy.
hidden behind the main pc (somewhere under the dust.. not seen it for a while now that I think about it) is a 12 port cisco 1 gb switch which connects to the router and a separate WAP. From there the cables run direct from the switch to the various laptops and pc’s around the house punching through several walls and turning our entire house into a Faraday cage. I do wish I had the time and the inclination to go for a patch panel route but I know I am too lazy.
