having tried to pla fps games on the ps2 i am very concerned about the future
by the sounds of it the cod4 guy was seeing more cracked players than legit – now that must be a depressing thing to see.
it was released in the US as the golden compass and hence the movie was called the golden compass – so it was only a matter of time before reprints were called the golden compass.
the default skin for phpbb 3 is prosilver and hence modders are working on that as a priority.
i saw the problems with the subsilver skin on my screen but it went away and all looks fine on both skins now – weird. it is working fine in IE and firefox in various resolutions – so not sure why some people are seeing it jumbled up
no one looks at the front page so it seemed daft putting it there as most people come the index of the board directly
this is an alpha shout box so expect it to improve as new versions are released.

i wasn’t offering to set your website up – just offering some cheap webspace and a domain name for you
you just need the cheapest package from 1and1 or i will host your site for 10 quid cheaper
turks – you cant go wrong with this – works out 24 quid for the year inc domain name
other wise if you want a bit of hand holding bung me 15 quid and i will setup you up with some space and domain name.
save as gif or png – on the right click on the transparent pallet square and set it to your background colour (probably white)

thanks to this tread i have been in retro gaming heaven and got stuffed at chaos by a spectrum … having said that the free version of chess you got with the spectrum used to beat me on the easy settings 🙁

yes it was a tad bit good – must have pumped hundreds of pounds into it at the sea front in seahouses – it was the only place i have ever seen it – you can of course get it on mame but with out those amazing rotating joysticks it is just not the same

lol – our old man got a pong game for xmas in the late 70’s great stuff
shortly after that we got our zx81 (with the 16k expansion pack!!)- loved the game catacombs on that
then came the 48k spectrum – penetrator was my fav with favorable mention to manic miner oh and combat lynx – though we had loads of ‘fun’ typing in basic code from magazines to create some really crap games.
Somewhere around here we had an atari console but the only game i can remember is empire strikes back.
