OK, Over Cockers have this one on offer at the moment which I’m tempted by http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-195-OE&groupid=43&catid=2040&subcat= not an extact match but around what I wanted to pay and I can always add to it later. Will probably change the card to the GTX 560ti and add a 64Gb Crucial M4 SSD but other than that not a bad spec for just over £640 🙂
Big Birthday this week so fingers crossed. If not will be after xmas….

I’m inbetween these two but with 60GB SSD and GTX 580 – (possibly upgrading to another for SLi further down the road)

Mike go with the Z68 one which should futureproof you for a while and should support the new Ivybridge Processors being released next year. Although knowing Intel, the will change to socket architecture just to get you to by an new mobo!! 👿
Nice spec Sprogster!!! I would personally go for a 60Gb SSD especially those Crucial M4’s which have just had a firmware update which has increased the overall speed by 70%. I would also bin that WD Drive and replace with a Samsung Spinpoint F1 – 1Tb hhd around the same price. These things fly and are pretty bullet proof from reviews and ratings I’ve been reading recently.
I’m in the market soon for a new pc but dont have anywhere near your budget but I reckon I can build a half decent machine based on the i5- 2500k for around the £500 mark if i do my homework and shop around 😉
