ok, last night i’m driving down a road, i see a motorbike in my right mirror so do the usual check into my left mirror before i move over to give him space to overtake only to see a bike overtaking me on my inside by the kerb!!!! wtf am i mean’t to do in this case as a “cunty”, worst type of driver on the road ??? I’m now in a situation where one biker is giving me a thumbs up for giving him room to pass and the other biker is calling we a wanker !!!
Hardly a day goes by where something doesn’t happen……….prime example; Monday night, i’m parked up quite lawfully in a side road in belsize park, on the left…..just before a junction, 5 or so minutes later a BMW turns up and parks opposite me but just ahead in front of the junction (imagine a T junction, hes parked opposite the road that comes off the road i’m parked on) and just sits there dropping off some mates, chatting on his mobile.A minute or 2 later a car comes down and has to go around the car thats double parked (his mates have gone but he’s still on his phone) as in effect he has made a chicane in the road…..as the guy drives passed me, he slows down and calls me a fucking wanker for being parked up!! 😯 WTF ??? so he ignores the fuckwit whos double parked on his mobile but instead chooses to make a taxi driver (who is legally parked) the object of his anger (why he’s angry i have no idea as there was room to pass, he just had to slow down to 40 instead of wanting to do his usual 60 in a 30 mph area).
Tuesday night i’m driving down Bayswater road towards Marble Arch and this guy comes right up to the back of the cab flashing his lights and trying to overtake me into on coming traffic………..i refused to budge (actually i couldn’t as there was cars parked in the bus lane) so the whole way up to the lights hes flashing and tooting at me………when we pull up at the lights hes questioning my parantage and all sorts so i wind down my window and ask him what his problem is, pointing out that the speed limit is 30mph and i don’t intend to go faster than that with a customer in the back of the cab………he then blows a fuse and goes off about wanting to keep up with traffic or summat ???!!! Again, as a “cunty” cab driver, you tell me what i did wrong ? I’m driving legally, being courteous but still people cop the hump with me…….i guess being in a noticeable vehicle like a cab your gonna upset people just by the very nature of what you do.and yes, we do fuck up !!! we do cut people up, stop suddenly forget to indicate…………doesn’t everyone? its just you notice it more because its a cab………….Next time its pissing down with rain, your stuck out and need to get a cab, when eventually you find a free one and you stick your hand up to stop him……..i bet your fucking happy he’s stopped suddenly or done the unfirgiving U-turn to pick you up !!! Your not caring so much then are you ?? or howabouts when you and your pissed mates are fucking about in the cab, 4 or 5 of you all yelling about where you want to go on your friday night out and within the cacophony of noise the driver is mean’t to hear where you said you wanted when suddenly one of you shouts out to the driver “here mate, we want to stop here”………what do you expect the cabbie to do ? drive a mile down the road ?? nah, thought not! you want to get out where you said………in effect, fuck the drivers behind (who incidentally if they kept a reasonable space behind the cab would normally have room to overtake but instead they want to be so close to the back of the vehicle in front its stupid).

had lamb today………..cooked it on a lowish heat for about 3 hours, came out very tender, served with roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots and peas……….bloody great! 😀

got a lesson tomorrow in the microlight but now i’m thinking about buying another cab i’m gonna have to give up the flying for now………may look at taking up gliding instead as its far cheaper to get the licence and to fly………errrr, glide!
