Aha my bitch has returned!

The game won’t force someone to do something they wasn’t already interested in doing in the first place. A sick fuck was always a sick fuck, the game won’t suddenly make them twisted, though it could maybe nurture whatever fuckup they already had, but at the same token anything could have nurtured it.
If anything, getting the chance to release your tensions virtually means you would be much more relaxed and not have the need to do it in reality…
If they really wanted people not ot play this game they wouldn’t ban it. It means the game gets shitloads of free publicity money can’t buy and it becomes a taboo – meaning people will actually WANT to play it to see what all the fuss is about.
The last Manhunt sucked, if it was put on the shelves and not much better it would have rapidly been forgotten about….

They can manually block ports you discover if they had been using packet sniffing/port scanning on your machine, or even to the router but it’s not something average joe would have bothered doing.
I’d wager though that maybe uPnP was enabled and it allowed your progs to automatically take control of open ports and now it’s been disabled and they have set their ports manually, but because you can’t set yours manually and uPnP doesn’t work it’s why you could be in the shit.
Do you have any idea if uPnP used to be on or if your ports were manually set? any idea if your cunts are tech-savvy?

I’ve been reading news.bbc.co.uk a few times daily for the past few years now, mostly I stick to the science and technology sections though… but when I want to read freaky shit like that I normally go to http://www.ananova.com and check out their ‘quirkies’ section. Looks like a cracking game though – I’m having a nosey to see if I can discover where I can get hold of the beta. Amazon have the game listed for release on September 30th with รฦรโรยขรขโยฌร ยกรฦรขโฌลกรโรยฃ15 off for preorder, should be good fun ๐
If you’re on at peak times in some areas the connection will get shitty anyway, but if they’re both using the connection at those times and say they’re downloading something, then they will automatically get the bandwidth priority. At the same token, when they piss off to bed, so are the chances other peak users do too, hence the connection has some bandwidth left for you ๐ IMO get a download manager on the go and spend a week downloading huge files just before they get back – it should shift the bandwidth priority to you, OFC then you can’t suddenly play a game or pause the file because you will lose priority, but it should piss them off enough to warrant negotiations ๐ The beauty of using a download manager would mean if they reset the box to improve the connection, it will auto-resume the DL when it reconnects to give you prioty again so their DL goes shit ๐
The only other halfway house is to disable Windows bandwidth reservation. I can’t remember off the top of my head as it’s been years since I’ve done it, but Windows reserves a good 10-20% of your bandwidth in case secondary services or Internet Explorer needs it. Get rid of that and you have an extra 10-20% of fuck all bandwidth to hopefully make your experience in whatever you’re doing that little bit more enjoyable.
EDIT: Doh I had forgotten all about it ๐ Just disable QoS Packet Scheduler in the Properties tab of your network connection, or look around for the registry hax if you want to change the % of the reserve.
As per the original question, well I gues you can go on http://www.speedtest.net and record the results at different times of the day, over a few days and compare results -_-
