ParticipantI liked this comment from the BBC website:
It looks like a cubism picture of a woman with big hair and numerous earings on her knees pleasuring a guy wearing a London t-shirt
Anyway WET – you should be happy. Think of all those foreign types looking for taxi rides in 2012. You’ll make a killing.

ParticipantLike Pharty I’m just too blinkin’ busy to play at the moment. If I didn’t have the frame rate problem with 2142 I would be more tempted to have a go in those odd minutes that I do have.
I got COH a few weeks ago, and haven’t even had the time to get past the first tutorial 🙁
Ah well, someone’s got to keep the wheels of industry turning…..

ParticipantSame camera as I’ve got.
If you look at the metadata on the image from either Photoshop or the Canon supplied software, it will tell you exactly what settings it chose.

ParticipantVery nice – using flowers in the foreground works really well.
What exposure were you on?

ParticipantI recently upgraded my card too, but still get crap frame rates. When moving it feels like running through treacle. The picture looks prettier – I have turned on more effects and run at a higher res which is fine. But when I turn all these off again, I get no measureable difference.
However, my 3D Mark ’03 jumped from 5150 to 10802. My old card could not run ’06 without crashing, and my new one gets 2220.
My gut feeling is that something is going on with the latest patch, as that was coincident(ish) with my upgrade. Obviously does not affect everyone, but maybe there’s a combination of things going on.
I’ve hardly played in a couple of months now, but I was thinking about trying to run a standalone game and see if that behaves the same. That will rule out any network/PB nonsense.

Yes, and yes.
Posting personal details no matter how they were obtained is not right.

ParticipantI’m coming in on this late – I’ve been away for the weekend.
Regarding posting the tupperware woman’s details, I actually agree with Legit. As you know from the thread about Mr Grow-a-knob, I thought it was a pretty shitty thing to do to post someone’s details up on the web just because you had received an email in error.
I backed down on that because I had missed the bit about his details being posted elsewhere. But, you know what, in hindsight I was wrong to back down. Whether someone’s personal details are available elsewhere is irrelevent – in fact, they were only found because of the leaked email. Itr’s still not right that we post them here.
Should I open letters addressed to the previous owner of my house, and then post their details on the web because the address was wrong? No – I write “not known at this address” and stick it back in the post box.
Legit is is a twat for doing the email thing, but let’s not confuse the two.

ParticipantYou’re all assuming that it’s Pharty on the right…..
I think he may be the other one 🙂

ParticipantCongrats Signal.
Watch out for the projectile vomiting…..
Lensman
ParticipantOh, I didn’t see that. 😳
In that case, fuck him. Leave the posts alone. 😈
