We had what sounds like the exact same thing a few weeks ago. Can’t remember the clip it was supposed to be or if the site was the same.
Interviewer: “Tell us a little about your leadership experience”
OP: “Well, I normally average over 70 as a commander score. I always kick the squads into action and make sure they take the flags I designate. I’m also really good at using the Titan guns as fire support. As a squad leader I take no prisoners”.
Interviewer: “Well, that’s very impressive, but we all play WoW in this office….”

It’s pretty hit and miss, to be honest. I have played with no problems on a wireleess link, but then a day or two later I could get a crap experience.
One thing to note with the default Windows zero-config wireless is that often it drops & rescans the connection at regular intervals. I think it may be related to certain devices and drivers. With one card I tried I used to get without fail every 10 minutes a lag spike lasting 20-30 seconds. When I replaced the Zero config option with the utility provided by the original wireless chip manufactuer, things got loads better.
However, in the end I just got so sick of random dropouts that I ended up paying someone to reroute my phoneline into my office so I could get a properly wired connection. Now works a treat.
Me & the wife’s laptops can still access via wireless from around the house without any problems, but browsing the web, doing email etc means you tend not to notice dropouts.
I get a lot of crashes, and now I’ve upgraded my graphics card I get a lot of system freezes too. I think in my case the crashes are related to driver/EA software being wank. The freezes are alomost definitely due to my PSU not being ballsy enough for the new card – fixing that soon.
While I mostly play on the XDC server, I get at least as many crashes when on others.
With the crash not resetting your desktop res, my guess is that this is driver related. It’s an OS feature that resets the desktop res when a program running full screen mode either terminates or gets switched away from, and this feature is dependent on the driver.
With my nerd hat on, I would struggle to understand how different servers could affect how the client machine (i.e. your PC) could be the cause of crashes. It’s just network packets flowing between the machines, and that is the responsibility of the game server program itself which presumably is the same on all servers.
But there again, maybe there are some configuration settings that make the servers behave differently.

Big maps with vehicles and in Titan mode – engineer mostly.
When assaulting a Titan, or in street type maps, I go assualt.
I have started to go up the sniper unlock path but only because I hardly ever play sniper and so am trying to make it more interesting. As a sniper I hate just lying around waiting to shoot people – my instinct is to rush in. Just sitting on a hill hoping someone comes into range is just boring for me as a game. Maybe when I get the sniper close quarters gun I can change that.
I spawn occasionally as supply guy, but mainly to help my squad out if on Titan attack/defense and nobody else is running around with ammo.
I guess the time split is:
70% – Engineer
20% – Assault
5% – Sniper
5% – SupplyOr, if you don’t want to excrete vrious bodily fluids…..
Explain to him that since the landlord will expect his key back at the end of the tenancy he will lose his deposit. So he may aswell shell out the massive £3 right now rather than lose however much he put down as deposit.
Mind you, that sounds far too reasonable for someone like him who is obviously a complete waste of a skin….
Suggestion #2: Ask to borrow a fiver. Get a key cut with it, and return key with £2 change.
…and are you talking about here on the boards, or just people in general you are seeing? Are you also seeing large white rabbits called Harvey?
