Participantlol, do I detect roid rage?
😆

ParticipantExcellent, I’ll have to seek that out. Could placental attack be a sub-genre in itself?
So far I only know of these two films featuring such a thing, are there any more out there?

ParticipantI still have this on video somewhere in my attic. I snapped it up when my local video store was going out of business and find its similarity with the classic, ‘Invasion of The Bodysnatchers’ or ‘V’ compelling.
Dear god, it’s on Youtube in full, part one here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATG3c0k0Zg0
I always enjoyed the theme tune though, which is cruelly cut out of the above version, so here it is:

ParticipantI remember watching Body Melt. I has the guy who played Harold Bishop from Neighbours in it.
I saw that particular gem at the video hire place years ago. What inspired me to rent it was the promise on the back of ‘A young husband is attacked by his pregnant wife’s rejected placenta’.
The front had some sort of tagline which went along the lines of:
The first stage is headache
The second stage is hallucination
The third stage is total body meltI don’t remember much of the film, but I do remember that a young husband was indeed attacked by his pregnant wife’s rejected placenta, so I was happy.

ParticipantDead already, apparently.

ParticipantWow, just been to check out this masterpiece thanks to youtube and I must say, the bits I saw, I will not be forgetting in a hurry. Truly this is a film that everyone should be forced to watch simply to improve humanity as a whole. I mean, how can you not be moved by this brief snippet?

ParticipantJust been to see this with the wife and I was heartily impressed. Not as good as 2 but better than 3, definitely. I loved the shots of the nuked cities near the start, reminded me of Fallout3 a lot.
One thing that I kept wondering all the way through though…
[spoiler:2k574to3]If Skynet had control of all the nukes to level the cities, what was it doing with them when JC and his resistance buddies were sitting out in the desert surrounded by planes and helicopters and shit? Skynet would know exactly where they were, it'd still have all the serveillence satellites and shit. Hmmmm.[/spoiler:2k574to3]I give Terminator 4, BotoxedArnie/10
