Aye hacking in JK wasn’t quite the same as what it is nowadays, there used to be games for hackers only, as they were basically just muckabout mods.
There where always hackers games on the Zone. There used to be “build” servers, where you muck about creating stuff, think primative Garry’s Mod.
I forgot to mention the first adventure game I played as well, one that was absolutely quality and you can now download for free (if you really want to 😕 ) seeing as its abandonware.
Legend of Kyrandia!

I did like Delta Force, was my first online FPS and i can honestly say ive never seen so much blatant hacking, it became comical to watch. Cost me 3.99 so what did i expect.
hehe yeah the old games wheren’t too hacker secure. In Jedi Knight you could do some crazy shit, like firing missles shaped like starships, mines shaped like Max from Sam and Max, make other players say stuff, home made grapple hooks, create any model that was in the game anywhere, push people off the level…
..not that I did any of that of course 🙄

instant spawn ruins the game and on a full server is asking for stalemates, the default 20 is well balanced for full servers. When the server is only half full then 20 seconds is too long 10 or 15 would be better if the server rarely fills up.
I agree. Nothing is worse than a long stalemate playing the map until its timer runs out, it just stops being fun.

ParticipantCould always put a shoutbox on your website as opposed to the forums if its causing you problems, wouldn’t be that hard to set up unless you have a limited amount of databases or something.

ParticipantOne thing that has really annoyed me so far about the CoD multiplayer. All the good experienced players, get better weapons and perks which only adds to their utter domination over newbies such as myself.
I’m not actually that bad now I’ve played a bit, so much easier after I steal the good weapons from higher ups though.

ParticipantI liked this film, bought it on DVD. My dad hated it though.
I thought it built up the atmosphere really well. I was creeped out at points and kept interested in what was happening, I tend to fast forward through films when they bore me, this one didn’t.
The storyline was good as well. ok ok we all knew there would be someone evil on that other ship, but besides that it wasn’t that predictable really. Our evil protaganist was a good one as well, spent years working out alone on a ship, praying to the sun. Adding up to give us an insane super strong sun burnt villian.
I liked how they all came to view the sun as God it fitted really well into the story.Only thing that annoyed me was the fact that they where all in utter despare about not coming home. They where strapped to a bomb, heading towards the sun years away from earth. They where fucked, end of story. They all seemed pretty keen on self preservation for a bunch of people who where clearly doomed.
If I had designed that ship I wouldn’t even have contemplated the crew surviving the mission.

ParticipantI did like this film, but I didn’t think it was as good as all the hype suggested. I say the same thing about the Godfather though 😉
Martin Scorsese does the best gangster films, Goodfellas and the Departed rocked.

omg
having said that we once watched A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket and even the kids insisted that we switch it off after and hour- a terrible terrible film.
Watched that at Christmas with my Sister and my cousins young kids (9 & 11) we all loved it, my sister even went out and bought it on DVD.
It was a really well directed film with an interesting story, Jim Carrey fitted the role of Count Olaf brilliantly and acted really well as always. Made me and the kids laugh anyway.

Participantlmao, that was great

ParticipantI bought CoD4 yesterday 😀 Unfortuantly I discovered my DVD drive is broken, so I had to download the game anyway 🙄
All installed and working now so I’ll have to start owning up the multiplayer as soon as I get the hang of the game.
I’ve enjoying the game so far but having a bit of trouble on the single player, can anyone give me some pointers?
Is it possible to turn difficulty down without restarting the game? Putting it on Hardened was a mistake.Only issues I have so far with the game is that it uses the same key for pick up enemy grenades as throw your own, so I keep accidently wasting mine.
Also the friendlies always run in front of me and the worst possible times, keep shooing them and twice I’ve lobbed a grenade literally into the face of an ally. >_>Kippo
ParticipantHaha, nice flash 🙂

ParticipantSeen that one before but still makes me laugh 😆
