It’s definitely been designed with competition in mind. If the monster is good and hunters are pubs the monster wins easily. If pre-made hunters and monster isn’t good then the hunters win easily.
Due to the class aspect it’s also impossible to carry a bad team unless the monster is a total chode.
With two good teams the game is great. Though that doesn’t happen often just like in L4D.
Overall it’s like L4D with the tank, no zombies and occasional ai monsters that can attack the monster and hunters.
But with more anal rape and the absolute gaurantee that when sales start to dwindle, there will be overpowered and unbalanced DLC released to squeeze the last pennies out of the people who bought the game before it dies.

I haven’t played tanks properly in about 6 months although the game is great. It’s very addictive and I found myself wanting to play it every night to take advantage of the bonuses etc. Gary and RecoilUK still play pretty regularly though. Great game that I still watch on youtube.
Yeah, after speaking to different people, I think I’ll wait for the technology to mature a bit and likely windows 10 to deal with the scaling issues that seem to be a problem.

Games apparently looking fucking sweet, but it’s a bit of an investment to play at that level. I think if I sell my existing screens and graphics cards, I could upgrade to 4k for about £400 which isn’t too bad. But I don’t know if it’s worth that much money, just looking for someone with experience with it.
Watched that a few days ago, looks brilliant. I considered re-subbing the other day and still may. So short on time though.

I’ve also completed Levels 1 and 2 on my iphone when I had it, was pretty good for killing time, but on the other hand, DOWNLOAD PS2 DOC…
I had the same decision to make last year. I ended up picking a PS4 as at the time, the xbox was an always on device, with a constant network connection and had a camera attached to it at all times to work (the kinnect). This in a child’s bedroom did not seem right.
Combined with their desire to cash in on 2nd hand games market (you have to pay to transfer license for pre-owned game) as well as the fact that ps4 was cheaper was what swayed me in the end.
