£54.99 on console 😯
those are COD esque prices. and something I have never understood about EA selling games on origin at the same price as retail.
Yeah true but steam also sell them at retail price so thats not a surprise.
But EA seem to have whacked £15 on all their games. Sim city is still £35 on amazon but tomb raider is now £20 and they were both released on the same day. Tomb raider was £30 on release just like every other PC game that hasn’t got an EA logo on.
steam is a little bit different though. they are in effect acting as a retailer and as such they take a percentage of the sale so the game publisher sets those prices, yes they are higher than they could be but not by a great margin. however origin is EAs own digital distribution platform, its not paying someone else the privilege of using it. and they are wanting to encourage people to go digital, its madness to me but hey, im not a financial business guru.

ParticipantARSE!
well at least its this eyar

Participantim really looking forward to it. i just hope that sega dont take too long to replace all the logos, legal text etc and get it onto the shelves. it shouldnt take too long unless they decide they want to evaluate it, qa it some more and then fuck about with it but i hope they leave it alone. the other games were brilliant and they shouldnt need to change anything.

Participantyou can setup a dual boot system. i dont know how to do it as i have never done it but i know that you can.
i know that doesnt help much but it may give you an ideas as to what to start seraching google for 🙂

Participantall item spawns are now server controlled not client so item spawning shouldnt be an issue. but i dont know about the other hacks, kill all stuff etc. hopefully that is only server side as well as that is what stopped me playing. randomly being killed was crap
crazy hippo
Participantits looking good. i like the fact that they have simplified some of the options to make it more accesible i just hope they dont make it too simple.
also i dont want them to take forever to get it out the door as im really looking forward to it. its not like people should be expecting a final quality game initially, the mod wasnt exactly flawless and neither was ARMA 2 🙂

Participanti loved the planes in ’42, so much better than the jets in all the subsequent BF games

Participanti have never used any wireless mice outside of work and i never liked them so cant recommend any. however my suggestion would be to go down to your local PC World and try the mice as they have a fairly decent selection of gaming mice now and you can see how they feel, which is one of the most important aspects of a mouse.
do not buy roccat mice, although i love them they have awful build quality and wont last long.

How do you know Winnipeg Mr Hippo?
I was out there in January this year… not massively overwhelmed with the place, but… well… there’s this girl you see! Houses are bloody cheap too… and the lady friend says she will buy me a snowmobile for the same amount as I spend on some kind of ring or something!
i have a friend who is a lawyer in Winnipeg. and i lived in outside Montreal for a few years but that was many years ago
Are there any English people in Winnipeg? I was hoping to find an expat community but not having much luck!
