Participantdownloaded the demo this afternoon, only played it for 10 minutes or so, but it seemed ok, i didn’t give it enough time to fully get to grips with the controls, but it has potential….probably not enough potential to actually buy it though.

ParticipantTBH, i’d stay well clear of free BB providers, my old man got the talk talk package and to say it’s complete shite is too good for it, extremely erratic service and tech support is provided by trained chimps at £1 a minute.
I’m lucky to get cable, and i know a lot of people do have problems with it, but i’m getting my full 10Mb download more or less 24/7.
It’s defiately a case, as vic say’s, of you get what you pay for.

ParticipantJust got my cable upgraded, i’m not getting the full 10Mb down, but it’s still pretty good, and i’m downloading from the newsgroups at a steady 1260KB/s

Participantabsolutely no complaints with vista x64 here, it looks and runs great….and it’ll only get better when nvidia and the like get thiers thumbs from up their arse and get some drivers released.

Participantgreat news, it definatly been a long time coming. Congratulations to you and the missus.
Did you manage to get that EA baby sponsership deal, you definatly put in the required unwavering support for them.

Participantnewsgroups all the way. fuck downloading from bit-torrents, you never know what you are getting and it takes a fucking age to download. i get my full download speed 24/7, fine so it might be 7 or 8 quid a month, but it’s definatly worth it.

Participantwell i got it this morning, t’was a painless installation. Evertything seems to be working ok (most importantly Red Orchestra & codecs for Xvids) and i gotta say it looks and feels great, so far.

Participanthmmmm, let me see……people who what to be able to play movies and don’t want business networking and remote access?
ahhh, i see, if i was a bloke then i’d go for the testostrone injected ultimate version for nearly double the price?
Surely only ladyboys and gheys would waste money on things they don’t really need

Participantyup, i just got the 64bit OEM home premium, i figured whats the point of going for 32bit when it’s gonna be yesterdays news soon, and if it doesn’t work, well i’ll do a fresh install of XP and wait a few months, but the research i’ve done on various geek forums is most new applications and hardware work without too much fuss. It’ll be here tomorrow and i’ll have a crack at installing this weekend……so probably see ya in a few months. 🙄
