ParticipantCheers mate – I already have that code thought. Strange thing is – click the text hyperlink and it opens in front, but click the hover button hyperlink and it opens in the back…
Crazy!

ParticipantOk… site is basically up and running, but have a few niggles…
The links open up PDF files with information on diversions etc. Some PC’s open the files in the foreground, others in the background… assuming it is therefore a client side issue, but wondering if there is a way I can force the files to open in the foreground?
Too late to recall the other niggles, will try to remember tomorrow!

ParticipantDoes it update itself, or do I need to download from somewhere?
Bought through steam
cheers

Good to see you mate!!!

ParticipantSorry!

ParticipantHah! I emailed one and one, and they restored all the files… strangely there are no non user created files, so not sure how I fucked it up, but its better now!
Cheers for the offer though! Operation WordPress starts later on this year, so I am sure I will start asking for advice soon!!

ParticipantI think I know the issue…Do you get white dots on the screen when researching “Art” too?

ParticipantSuch a fucking Mornon!
After slaving away all day I was ready to upload the new vomiting bird invitation incarnation when I had the awesome idea of clearing up the web space – so I deleted all the files in some folder marked DSC05831204 (or simliar) thinking they were all user created files…
Now I get this:
Error 403 – Forbidden
You tried to access a document for which you don’t have privileges.Anyone know if A) Filezilla saves deleted files (worth checking!) or B) What I would have deleted to bring up a message like this – and how can I readd it? I have already contacted 1and1 support but assume they will be rather slow over the weekend.
I believe the DSC folder is a subdirectory for the webspace as we have two sites on the same account. This is a sub account, so think it could be linked to this folder
But then again, what the fuck do I know! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

LoL – shittest site ever!
The background took my PC about 2 minutes to load! All the buttons were off kilter…. and why does the pinnacle of your animation comprise of a small bird puking when I put my mouse over it? 😆
Geography degrees? Pah.
Doc, it’s not my fault the internet in the Scotish Isles comprises of a piece of string seperating two yogurt pots… but you are right the file is too big.
And coming from someone who is so uber proud of their prefabricated site – real men start from scratch! (using particularly shit M$ products to add the extra challenge!)
Douche!

ParticipantCheers for the help, will have a look at CSS. Got a “preview” copy of Dreamweaver but have to screw about with the registry or something to get it to work – not my cup of tea!

The ultimate goal is to use the logic system to create a computer, then use it to create an operating system to run on this computer, link it up to a visual display device that I create out of different coloured blocks in game, crete java in this game world, code minecraft from it. This will allow me to create minecraft inside minecraft, winning the internet in the process.
Eh? I will give you 3 internets if you complete your goal

There will be the ability for the host to save the game while playing online and reload at a later time. It appears that each participant will have auto-save files stored on the fly that can be loaded later even if you weren’t the host. There’ll be more to talk about once the final version is made available, but this seems like solid way to keep longer online contests going.
Looks promising… maybe I lost the option after you disapeard.

ParticipantIm around from 10 ish tonight so would be up for another go (totally addicted to this game! [almost justifies the expensive graphics card Doc made me get, and I have barely used!])
Im interested to know how it would work if we were both on the same team. In Age of Empires you would literally both be playing as the same charactor – sharing resources and so forth – allowing one person to concentrate on the economy and the other on buiding an army – worked quite well…
OldPhart – get the demo and then buy because it is awesome!

ParticipantVerdict: Fun but since Al and I were on different continents we never saw each other the entire game… and then steam crashed and we lost all our progress!
I reckon with a few XDC on, it will be great fun, but they need to iron out some issues first!

ParticipantI will be working on my PC all night – just let me know when you are ready.
