I think it might be time for a wot forum. There are better channels out there max btw but you can’t go wrong with his tips – when I put up a forum i’ll link the best channels. I’ll also sort a video for you tomorrow as well that may give a bit more insight re tips.

Nice one turks, tried to find something yesterday and it was a real pain. Good effort sorting it.

Well I’m home and I’m confused by what you want exactly. I thought the link might make it clearer but it’s a big pile of shite (i’m still sobering up btw). What do you need in an excel file and how do you need it organised?

If you can’t before i’m sober enough to think this is a challenge, i’ll be disappointed in you turks, disappointed.

I was just jesting doc, don’t worry 🙂

I agree with what you’re saying re colour etc though that’s coming from a laymans perspective. Obviously digital has to be better since that’s what spy satellites use, but for the likes of us, I guess it’s more a question of practicality.

I take you you do realise those pictures are also stitching together some famous photos to create a new scene rather than just tampering with the colour?

Alzir, I just installed this. Got a message saying I should use the latest Codec called Opus, but no permission to do this. Should we change the default Codec?

The guys tried this out during the week and the reports I got were not good, so have reverted back to what was working. It was pretty much unusable according to what i’ve been told, sadly.

is world of tanks worth a go?

Yea it’s a good wee game, and has certainly kept me occupied over the last 7 or 8 months. We have doc and my brotuer on ts quite often atm just starting off, while the rest of us are trying to show them the ropes etc so now is a good time for anyone wanting to try it out. I think max laughs at it because he doesn’t appreciate the depth to the game, which is what has kept me hooked long enough to have put as many hours into to it as I did with bf3. Free to play as well, though most of us enjoy it enough to use the premium accounts which help a good bit in the time it takes to progress. Worth a try anyway even if your unsure whether shooting big chunks of ww2 steel is your thing.

Is this for those who’ve preordered Lammie, or a random draw type thing?

I take it you can get on the server ok pharty, and it’s not causing you any issues this codec thing?

I checked the settings and it’s something I think worth testing. We normally have the channels set to the highest quality codec, but this is a new one as you say. The only concern is that it uses about 66% more bandwidth, so I’ll test it on the World of Tanks channel tonight and see how it goes. Any other server ops can do this in other channels to see whether it affects gameplay, but at 11 kb/s it should be ok unless you’re on a 56k modem.

There’s certainly the chance that i’ll need someone to help with admin in a few months time, but to what extent, I don’t know yet. I can think of a way it might be practical to do it across the Atlantic but i’d have to find out how the data protection act applies to passing info out of the country. I’ll let you know if the need arises and it passes compliance.

Something else that may interest some people. If you happen to know anyone who is looking for another income stream, part time, let me know and i’ll get in touch with them. Although i’m building a team around Scotland right now, the opportunity is open to anyone across the uk, and particularly in england and northern ireland we have a large presence. Anyone in wales could also be onto a proper winner here as I don’t think we’ve expanded there yet. For more info, just pm me or catch me on ts.

Nice one Chris, and best of luck with settling in, getting a job etc. I played a lot of games with jim on us servers and it really was playable, even with 100 ping and up. You’ll find the same qith uk servers. Even with increased lag I always found jim pretty hard to beat with him playing on our server as well.
