I hate the patch and i hate EA.
Left it on last night downloading. Got to 2.8gb then stopped for a few hours. I tentatively pressed resume download… and it shut down and restarted origin.
Did it remember the 2.8GB it had downloaded? Did it fuck.
Now up to 2 gig again. Used 3 quarters of my monthly download limit already.
Not happy.
Its not going to work like that Matt. If we are going to give it a proper go and see if people do come to the server we need to set it in the morning and leave it all day. If it doesnt work then fine – but it seems like the idea is getting scuppered before it has even started.
It is only one day a week. Fair enough?

Got the 360 as a prezzie last year for my 40th, had a go on bfbc2 yesterday and just cannot get the hang of using the controller.
I would buy a pc but spent the cash on a mac mini 😉

2142 wasn’t that bad in retrospect! Wonder why we stopped playing it so soon.
I only started seeing it after the patch.
There is a thread on OC about it – loads of peeps with loads of cards are having it.
