cheersIt’s difficult to recommend it if you’re looking for something like RO.
With the right server settings it’ll probably be a good laugh on mp but there’s an awful lot of grenade launcher spamming and aimless spraying of machine guns.
If you do get it try the cr0x server first – crosshairs turned off (limits the nade spamming) and ff turned on make it a bit more playable.

To be honest I’m not very good at “roleplaying” in these story driven games so my Witcher basically acts like I would. That means that I’m not right interested in that Shani bird anymore – if a bird isn’t looking like putting out sharpish I tend to lose the will to bother with ’em fairly rapidly.
It also means that I’m unlikely to bother with elves either cos I hate those tree hugging hippies, I’ve already twatted a few for talking to me and sold one out to the authorities and then killed his mates.
There’s tits and fannies Insane, but that’s about it, and they’re computer generated. The shagging birds bit isn’t really anything to write home about in itself but the sex, prostitution, drinking, drug taking, racism, child trafficking and all that make it more interesting than the “good men go out and kill bad men” shite that seems to make up the storyline of every other computer game you’ll ever play.

Summary:
People who play longest win.That’s right, it appears to have stupid bloody unlocks. So, some LeGit like cockend will be able to shoot through walls when you can’t, have a better scope on their gun, hide themselves off the minimap when you are visible and no doubt do all other fancy crap simply because the tit has spent 18 hours straight on the game. No doubt with his duds over his head tugging off because he’s only got 10 more hours will he gets a laser sighted pistol or some shite like that.
Am I really the only person who thinks these weapon unlocks are the most stupid idea ever in multiplayer FPS?!?
The people who have played most have an advantage as it is because you learn the game mechanics and most importantly you learn the maps, isn’t that enough? This whole stat chasing and getting unlocks is everything I hate about mp games.
Whatever happened to just playing a game because you enjoy it eh? Eeeh, kids today. Quite frankly, I fucking hate ’em. But that’s beside the point.

This is an easy problem to solve. Just tell everyone that you don’t want anything for Christmas. Tell everyone that if there was anything you need you just go out and buy it.
Then when Christmas comes around you can say to everyone that you didn’t get them a present cos they didn’t get you anything .
That way it’s cheaper for you and you’re not given any crap you don’t actually need that’s going to clutter up your loft for the next 25 years.

Played the demo again over the weekend and as much as I liked it and am looking forward to it playing the CoD4 demo and then the Crysis demo back to back doesn’t do CoD4 any favours.
I only played the demo and didn’t think it was terrible as such, if it had come out 6 months ago I might have given it a go. Despite the AI.
Problem is with CoD4 and Crysis coming out they seem better bets for an FPS, and as for story driven games The Witcher has got more to it than any game I think I’ve ever played (which I know isn’t saying much but there you go), I even expect Mass Effect to fall short of The Witcher on that front.
