You just keep missing! – it just takes practice Neon. It took me an hour or so to get back into it but it’s not been too bad for me because I played Ofp for years. I’m only 4 or 5 missions into the main campaign and I’m comfortably getting 15 kills a mission. All of a sudden you’ll get it and then it becomes a lot easier.
Shoot the enemy officers first because they mark targets for their squad with binoculars and they’ll spot your fire and target you for their squad members.
By the way, I thought the graphics were pretty good considering that you can drop yourself anywhere onto a huge island and see for miles in every direction.

Well I know I’m stating the absolute bleeding obvious here but if you have a game that’s crashing all the time the first thing you should do is tone down your flash video settings in the game. All those shadows and reflection effects should be the first to go.
I admit that it doesn’t sound like it would work given that your getting more crashes on certain servers but it’s worth a try if you haven’t done it already.
Having said that – if certain maps crash a lot then that says to me that it is your graphics settings that need turning down.
First of all – that’s a great gif Insane but it stops about 3 seconds too soon.
My mate got in The Sun a bit ago for doing “Jackass” style stunts whilst at work at Tesco and posting them on Youtube.
Then last week my other mate got on the news for posting clips of him and his mates tying up an apprentice at work and setting his boots on fire.
I thought it was all very funny but the missus wasn’t impressed.
My copy arrived last night. Aside from featuring the ugliest bird in computer game history it’s the best game ever. That’s me sorted for the next 3 years anyway.
Now all I need is Oldphart to learn how to mod so he can give me skins for the ZANLU and Selous Scouts and I got myself a Bush War. Come on Pharty mate – get to it!
I don’t blame you Lensman. I sent this to my missus and she and told me that she knew all about this study and told me all about it last week and anyway I can’t bloody remember that and then she got all stroppy and started rabbiting on and I’ll be buggered if I can fathom it out. Must be gypsy week or summat.
So I should use Ventrilo because it’s clearer then?
I don’t really think it’s on me using other people’s voice servers to play GRAW but would I be right in thinking that since only 4 people can play it anyway it won’t screw up the bandwidth if one of us hosted the server ourselves whilst someone else hosted the game?
And I can dload Ventrilo and use it for free?
Eeh I don’t know. Times were that the only thing you needed to sort out with your mates is whose round it was.
Hang on a minute, do these teamspeak type things cost money then? Bastards.
I ask because me and my mates have played a bit of GRAW co-op and we were considering going all nerdy and doing this voice comms thing because the game badly needs it.
I’ve got no idea how any of this works though. I’d assumed that I’d just download one, hit a button and bobs your uncle and fannys your aunt. I’ve looked at a few screenshots though and it looks like hard work.
So is there a free one and what would I need to download?
Good stuff Neon, made me laugh. Top programme as well. I’ve got a mate that’s got ’em all on DVD and every now and again we have a few beers and stick It Ain’t Half Hot Mum and Mind Your Language on and relive those magical days before the pc crowd came along.
Anywy, on the subject of pretending to be a soldier and pretending to shoot a pretend gun at people pretending to be soldiers, is there any interest here about Armed Assault or did everyone rip it off and then stop playing it 6 months ago?
They do have the wheel here in Bradford but people aren’t generally allowed to make or use them. The powers that be have realised that if you give people an easy means of transport anyone with half a brain cell would leave this shithole pronto and never come back.
I don’t need a camera because I generally find that it’s a lot easier to just look at stuff and then remember it.
I don’t really need a mobile phone because I’m either at home, at work or in the pub. Now here is why you should bin your mobile phone. There is one place where people will ring you on your mobile – in the pub. They won’t ring you at work and they won’t use your mobile to ring you at home. Want to know who you’ll get calls off? I’ll tell you – it’s not your mates because they’re all sat next to you – it’s ‘er indoors that’s who. It was bloody birds who invented mobile phones so they could slap the pink handcuffs on you even when you were miles away trying to get some peace. That’s a fact. No way am I getting a mobile phone. I get chuntered at enough as it is when I’m at home. You see all the women texting each other on the train and their texts all say “My bf hasn’t reported in for 5 minutes but he’s got his mobile so I’m going to ring him now and give him some blather before he starts enjoying himselfâ€ÂÂÂ.
So now you know. The choice is yours.
I’d like to oblige Insane but I don’t own anything with which I can take pictures of anyone or anything. I don’t have a digital camera. I don’t have a scanner, which I wouldn’t need anyware cos I don’t have a normal camera. I don’t have a mobile phone that takes pictures, I don’t even have a mobile phone.
Believe me though, it wouldn’t be a good idea. I can tell you from first hand experience that there is something deeply disturbing about seeing a fit bird whose legs you’d quite like to use as a scarf but knowing that she goes home and pretends to be an elf or some shite like that. Yeah, if she was a 22 stone Buffet Slayer you could understand it but how many times can you honestly say you’ve been out in town and seen a top bit of blart and said to your mates, “Phwoar, look at that – I’ll bet she plays World of Warcraft!”.
Well I have friend who tends to play these types of things and she assures me that Lineage 2 is the best one out there at the moment.
Before you disagree with me I’d just like to point out this to you:- This bird does not play (to the best of my knowledge anyway) that bunny hopping cartoony spazfest BF2142 but she is good looking and she does have absolutely fantastic legs.
So if you tell me you think she’s wrong and that WoW is better then I’m sorry to say that I’m shallow enough to side automatically with the good looking female everytime.
I did borrow her copy of WoW anyway when she’d finished with it and had about 3 days playing on it on her account. It looked like a ‘kin Looney Tunes cartoon.

Well, a brand new Windows and a brand new graphics card – and people are upset they don’t work straightaway. What the hell did they expect?
I’ve got a mate like this, has to have the best computer ever at all times. Of course, we all look up to him because of it as you can well imagine. It’s dead impressive having a flash computer after all.
But paying all that money for a graphics card just cos it’s got dx10 on it even though nothing actually uses it yet seems like a monumental waste of beer money to me.
I’ll get one when they’re a third of the price, and when they say ATI on them, and when they wrok proper. The last 2 Nividia cards I had never gave me anything but grief.
