i can remember playing the 42 demo constantly when it came out, my wife bless her bought the retail game for xmas, on boxing day at about 5pm i loaded it onto my machine….next thing i know its 6am!!!!
no other game has been like that for me, although RO was close.
42 was just so much damn fun, so loved the sound/text of Max weeping as he went over one of my mines:)

God i loved 42 days!!!! and nam, but boy 42 was great, spent most of my time fixing maxs tank…or blowing it up!!
regarding the clan games i found being an elder boy (cough) time was a bastard, fitting them around the family was a bitch.
My most memorable couple of games were one on Alamaine (i think) and we were getting owned with the arty (pixel aiming a point in the sky!!) soul destroying and one of my favorite ever clan games which i think was on wake, we were getting owned so Turks came out with the immortal line ‘lets hide’ sooo much fucking fun.
Best online experience ever was playing 42 & nam with you bunch of faggots:)

they are seemingly making it easier to get into than RO, so Max might get the hang of it!!!
no word on release or beta as of yet……cannot wait though.
i did go and buy BC2 & the nam mod, played it for a few days, god what shit, why the fuck do they fuck with winning formulas i dont know, 1942 on a decent engine would be amazing (no need to change a thing, game fucking rocked) or even a updated bf2, what happened to nice wide open maps with the ability to employ tactics!!! clusterfuck . Wondering how they will fuck up bf3, no commander for sure and not releasing the mod tools right away (if ever? or dlc?)
Also played moh for a bit….innovation has died!!! games makers a cloned fuckwits interested in prising that last £ from your clenched fist, cunts.
Anyway, for you guys who like the bc et all i hope they give you a good game with innovation and teamplay.
Hopefully i will be on a server near you with my 98k or mosin 91/30
