EA giving away BF ’42.
Seeing as my ’42 disks gave up the ghost a looooong time ago, I’m very, very, very happy.
Had an hour playing this last night. It’s still a fucking great game Only let down by the teamkilling on an epic scale by the kiddies just playing it to see what all the fuss was about. It still plays great and i’ll be hunting down a well admined server to get my fix.
P.s whats with your sig Max ? Your hax finally broke it?
Definitely need to get a game of this on the go amongst us once a few more have had a chance to dl it. WET’s pc could even handle this.
I got it. Thought didnt play it back in the day that much as I was playing Global Operations 24/7 🙂
i thought i was extreme on unreal and 42 but one of my housemates was an absolute global ops fanatic , put me to shame .

my mac mini would probably play this fine but i’d have to get some software to allow me to install windows on it. May look into it.

You have bootcamp pre-installed. Or should do if it’s post-2009, if not D/L free from apple site.

Great game no argument, but best fps to date, na. BF3 has that title for me, closely followed by TF2. At the time bf42 was king though, and it did what we’d been waiting for valve to do in their original TF2 plans, introduce viable vehicle warfare within a good fps.

Just need to get windows installed. I assume windows 7/8 would work ok on my mac mini (2011 model, i5 with 8gb ram) ?
