This company http://www.rotork.com/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; took over my company http://www.remotecontrol.co.uk/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; and now they dont want the UK branch coz they are shiftin all the work up to dirty Leeds 🙁 🙁 :(. It took the fookers 2 months to decide to bin us off tho!.. bit of a pisser for me tho coz im in the middle of movin house and just about to sign the contracts.. aahh well at least ill get a bit o redundancy(?) money.. been there since i left school!….. bout 18 years!!!!
So if anyone knows of any jobs for someone who knows a bit about valves, mounting kits pnuematic and electric actuators.. i is your man!!!(got an offer from next door factory of a job so should be ok… but am always lookin’!)
shutting us down on June 30th, offered me 10k red. money, but they will pay for solicitor to check things are ok..
… as an update i ‘borrowed’ some metal (brass, copper, stainless steel, aluminium and a few motors etc….) and flogged it for a shade under a grand!!!… Result!
The shitty part is the job i was offered is no longer there!…. but i have a chance if am willing to work nights. Another shitty part is that i am moving to a bungalow (have prob said before that my wife is disabled) at the end of the month too! AND im rentin my flat out to raise funds for the bungalow…. there is so much goin on at the min.. sortin mortgage for bungalow, sortin a ‘buy to let’ mortgage for me flat…. my little un just turned 3 on June 20 and i almost forgot!….. am struggling to cope (ive heard suicide is painless).. no reallydepending on how you do it it may be painless but what you leave behind causes the greatest pain.

Can you get any sort of a grant for the bungalow? Disability Action may be able to help you out, or contact CAB.
