ParticipantThat’s the bird!
Sorry Neon, but just like when I tried to work out what the hell that song was about, I’m afraid I couldn’t make head nor tail of what you wrote because I was too busy gawping at her knockers.

ParticipantWhat Album was that from?
I saw Muse Live @ Sheffield, UK, They’re BLOODY AMAZING!!! ^_^
Me = Huge Fan.Black Holes and Revelations is their best album yet, I’m addicted to Knights of Cydonia (Currently learning it on the guitar, I still suck though -_-) and Starlight, Supermassive Black Holes, Map of the Problematique and Assassin are among my favourites of this album
=”=XDC=NeonSamurai”]SOIA, I am deeply offended by the fact that you’ve chosen to mock one of the most moving songs I’ve ever heard about a British war hero.
The song you’re refering to was by popular beat combo 2 Unlimited and the actual lyrics are as follows:
No no, no no no no, no no no no, no no theres no limit!
No no, no no no no, no no no no, no no theres no limit! No no limits, well reach for the sky!
No valley to deep, no maintain to high
No no limits, wont give up the fight

ParticipantI actually saw some of this Muse music while channel flicking over the weekend. Here’s the thing though – it was on some rock music channel. Eeh dear, I couldn’t understand that. I remember when rockers had long hair and played rock music.
Still, the thing which really got my back up whilst channel flicking was this bunch called “Casabianâ€ÂÂÂ. Now I don’t know much about anything really. Anything that I’ve ever learned has generally been lost when I sobered up and forgot where I’d been and what I’d done. Here’s what I do know though, this “Casabian†lot have never been within 30 square miles of any kind of bother whatsoever. I mean, just look at ‘em! The most strife they’ve ever seen is when one of their little sisters pulled the head of their favourite Barbie doll because they wet themselves in the wendy house. So here’s why I’m annoyed at this lot. Safe in this knowledge I’d like to seriously ask how anyone could ever believe that this bunch of mopheaded shitsticks would ever have even the remotest inkling of an vague idea that they could even begin to predict when a riot was about to start. I’ve not seen anything so ridiculous since that cross dressing cock knocker Marilyn Manson sung “The Fight Song†(interesting point, people say that the Americans don’t understand irony but I’ll stick up for them and say that any country that produces someone like Marilyn Manson who then sings “The Fight Song†knows far more about irony than most of us could ever begin to understand).
Anyhow, here’s a story about a shopkeeper banning some scum youth kid for wearing a hoodie – give this shopkeeper a medal I say.

Participantnice link SOIA…….reminds me of when my mates Dad was asked to remove his baseball cap in a pub a few years back……..his Dad is in his 80’s and this was a midweek lunch time, when my mate asked the barman what the problem was the fella replied that they “have a lot of trouble from hoodies and baseball cap wearers in our pub”!!!! 😯 My mate tried to explain that the last time his dad had caused any kind of trouble was way back in WW2 and that since that time he had been wearing all manner of headwear without feeling the need to shoot, garotte or generally main anyone!!
t’is indeed a funny old World 😛

ParticipantNow I’ve never classed myself as one of those have-a-go-heroes, but if I was in that shop and some toddler came in, giving it all that and wearing a hoodie like he was Snoopy Dog Dog, I’d just put any thoughts of my own personal safety out of my mind and just wade in. No questions or messing I’d just knock him down as quickly as I could and wait for the law to turn up. Sure, I’m doing their jobs for them, but you can’t just wait for the police to turn up like the cavalry everytime there’s some trouble.
Anyway SOIA, not only have you insulted the most moving song about WWII every, but you’ve also deepened the offence by confusing ‘Cassabian’ with the ‘Kaiser Chiefs’, who, by the way, were part of the LAPD’s elite Social Unrest Response Executive back in 1992:
“We predict no riots”
“Shit.”Although that does kind of prove your point.

ParticipantAh damn, sorry Neon. I thought I was being bang up to date with all this by making out I knew all about “Casabianâ€ÂÂÂ. I’ll never get the hang of this new fangled “popular musicâ€ÂÂÂ, it’s all just noise anyway.

Participanthah! they had more balls than most of the bands around today put together! they were dirty primeival rock n rollers that did cause riots not “I predict apathy” which would be a more apropriate title for the Kaiser cheifs song 😉
in all fairness that was filmed in 72 when noddy holder was at full swing and the MC5 were burning out. I guess mr cuppa soup took the afro banner on 8)PS found u a new avatar WET 😛
