ive had the same things today Dutchman, it took me 10 attempts to connect to our server, as I kept getting kicked!!!

I’ve been kicked a few times as well, but that was probably you guys kicking me.
We did however have a guy come on the server saying he was going to report us to EA for kicking him 5 times in a row, and his “mate” was going to do the same because we apparently kept kicking them. Had my RCON have been working, I would have kicked him myself. The server obviously kicked newbs 😉
Did anyone point out to the guy & his mate that EA would not give a flying fuck about them them being kicked?
nah, the fucking things been borked all day!! I tried so many times today to get on our server that in the end i’ve given up, i managed to stay online once for about 40 minutes but suffered lag yet in other servers i’m playing lag free and no disconnects……… 😕
I’m seriously starting to wonder if Multiplay have our server running on a 486 or summut!!
I was playing earlier, and my screen suddenly went black, I got some weird scratching sounds, and that was it… had to turn my PC off and on again… would that be a BF2142 prob, or a Turks’s PC prob?!
BF problem I think. I get PC hangs as well as CTD’s with 2142 – fine with other games.
It is a pile of buggy crap.
Think I have had this problem before with other games though… seemed like an over heating prob, although bios says 55*C
deffo a bf2142 issue.. although I aint had one for a few days.. I got em at least once a day ingame :/

your CTDs could be repaired by visit0ring the punkbuster update site.
your ‘Error’ when attempting to connect to a server is releated to internet conncection – I get it all the time now.
I had a few connection problems last night. If you check the news ticker it states that there are currently ‘Issues’
Fingers crossed they get em sorted before we all fook off and play RO 🙄 🙄
Btw, I installed PB yesterday which (and thanks to the person that told me to do it) has resolved the kick issue however for the last 2 days now the XDC server shows up in red and I can’t join? The only way I can get around this is to connect via my buddies list.
Anyone else having this issue/know how to fix it?
had the same probs mate……….i resolved it by playing on another server 😉
Von, i think with wireless you get a certain amount of packet loss thus that can end up with lag, bad connection etc when gaming. I have a wireless router but have my gaming pc hardwired into it for that reason.

The EA BattleField 2142 master servers have been suffering issues today an unfortunately this has had a knock on effect to the servers themselves in the form of additional crashes and massive amounts of players dropping from the servers.We have made EA aware of these issues and REQUESTED that the servers reliance on the master server be removed as its a massive single point of failure. Fingers crossed they will take our advice and fix this issue in a patch.

Riiiiiiiight.
So every non multiplay server was ok with and after the master sever crash. But still multiplay decide in their world of wisdom that its ea’s fault..:roll:

You have to love paying someone for a shoddy service and getting the pleasure of being filled up with shit all at the same time.
