I hate the patch and i hate EA.
Left it on last night downloading. Got to 2.8gb then stopped for a few hours. I tentatively pressed resume download… and it shut down and restarted origin.
Did it remember the 2.8GB it had downloaded? Did it fuck.
Now up to 2 gig again. Used 3 quarters of my monthly download limit already.
Not happy.
That sucks mate, I had the same, patching my laptop, stopped at about 3gb, then tried to resume, had to go from the start again. EA are shit and origin is a crappy platform. I can’t even delete the shortcuts for the alpha and beta. A shit system crafted by people who were clearly high on crack.

Fingers crossed that works doc and also that the patch contains the bulk of material required for the karkand release next week.
Personally I think the irnv has been nerfed to oblivion. You cant see anything but green mist when theres someone 10 yards away from you in the tunnel on Metro so it has rendered the unlock completely pointless.
The Stingers have had a boost and the flares have been reduced. What has that led to? One hit get you down to 32% from a target that is pretty much impossible to spot and for some reason the range has increased. Also for some reason you dont always get the warning that something has tracked you or even been launched then BOOM you’re flying like a retard. IMHO they should have left all that as is. Some will be happy that the mortar takes an age to reload but on the upside for us bastards we at least get to see if we caused any dammage on the minimap. A new curious graphics thing im getting now is the occasional cartoonlike black outline in particular on draw distances. It feels like im in the film “a scanner darkly”@=XDC=MADMAX wrote:

There seems to be a hell of a lot of whining going off lately.. The way i see it is thats its WAR and to stay alive you use any means possible and if thats irnv sight,rpg against infantry or a big fcuk off gun mounted to the back end of a carrier, so be it.Kill or be killed.People are getting way to serious, for me its just a game , a laugh , a way of gettting shot of some stress that the “real life nobbers” bring me 🙂
