Jebus the Iranians should try being English and watching Hollywood films and seeing how many portrayals of the Bad guy seem to have english accents next to the happy go lucky downtrodden Irish and brave but downtrodden scots and even the Welsh. Or how about Russia nowadays that seems to get the laughable sidekick with rundown technology stereotype . Crikey Iran! dont be insulted at Hollywood. Just laugh at it 🙄

Christ, these guys have got a whole chip factory on thier shoulders. Dont they realise that its telling the story of a great battle that actually took place?
Granted its done in hollywood style and I dought that the Spartan general had a scotish accent but ITS A BLOODY FILM!!!

Watched this last night , some of the visuals are lovely and the fight scenes are really good if you like this sort of thing .
I found the dialogue a bit over the top with the talk of liberty and freedom and that sort of stuff going on and on , just go and kill more people .

Not as good as I was hoping it to be , but the fight scenes make up for the bits that I was not so into.

Brilliant film!! Great visuals… some cheesey lines tho!
Probably would be better at the cinema (copy i saw was a cam, but a pretty good one!).
Have seen the earlier version (The 300 Spartans)and liked that too.

Hactually .. get the Progressive one thats just been posted, the other was interlaced and apparantly noticeable :/

DVDErnie version is what you should get

Saw the first 30 minutes of this on a decentish torrent i downloaded last night. So good that I ‘ll probably go and see it at the cinema anyway. Looked every bit as entertaining as Gladiator, probably a fair sight better during some of the bits I took a quick peek at.
