Do you actually play the game for fun or just for stats?
There is no prize for being first, just the cold fact that you’ve wasted hundreds of hours of your life, which has no respawn.

Fun but stats along the way – was just grinding hard for my unlocks, now I got them don’t have to play too much.
I have just heard from one of my contact’s that EA going through the stats of those players in the top 100. Expect to see some significant changes to the leader board in the near future 😉
Got my silver engineer medal thing today… Bang 500 points! and I wasnt even trying!
Im afraid to tell you… I am going down the sniper unlock path now 😈
(Reason being that there are already thousands of support people, and the legit guide to 2142 said that medic was shit!… and I want to be able to sneak behind enemy lines as a squad leader, and own some hoes!)

Assault/medic kit is brill.. theres far too many snipers and not enough medics out there if you ask me!

i love my sniper class or whatever the hell its called now…….it gives me the RDX to blow toys’n’stuff up but also allows me to be a spotter for my squad or just go lonewolf and snipe to my hearts content! 😀

Yeah I was going to agree with you, why can’t we play it for both? I like the idea of working towards badges and that to prove I’m a decent all round player (lo well I can dream eh?), and I play on the XDC server because it’s fun playing with a group of like minded nuts.
(plus Max still needs time to knife me)

Still think if you have to play towards a specific badge it doesn’t mean anything. For most of the badges (i’m guessing as i haven’t a clue what badges there are) can probably be gained simply by putting in the hours. Spending 100’s of hours building up a score doesn’t make you a good player. It merely puts you on a par with Legit. Makes you think doesn’t it 😀 😉
