Actually, I did. I’ve met Sujoy, won I-Games (now VGA) tournaments and prizes (which I might add never actually materialised bah!) and even won tournaments on games I played for the first time ever at that moment. The only reason I’m not romping and stomping there now is because of playing with these folk on BYGames years ago molded me into someone who actually gives a crap whether or not someone else is having fun, so I can’t go back to those tournaments with the mindset I have now because I would just suck.

See you’ve even just proven my point with a) but you must be too much of a meathead to realise it. Yes I used claymores, but they were used DEFENSIVELY. I don’t spam them randomly in the middle of maps where 99% of the time people have to run (stairs, ladders, middle of the road n shit) nor do I plant them in enemy spawn points… “OMG lets play a game where there is a weapon then not use it but insult everyone who does!!!” You’re getting it all wrong with the fact I use claymores, OMG I use claymores so what’s the big deal? It’s how they’re used, not the fact they’re used which is important. Hmm… if you don’t want to see claymores piss off to some other game lol.

As for b) well a helicopter is there and if I didn’t use it, someone else who would just suck will. Yes I do like to be a chopper whore, but I also do like to be on the ground. “OMG there is a helicopter in the game, lets not use it and insult anyone who has the skills to turn the tide of the battle!!” Yeah… hmmm ok… nice plan.. you win at life!!

The fact is when chopper whoring landing the helicopter is the first big mistake you can ever make – it makes you a hell of a lot more of an easier target which means you’ll probably die and won’t be of much use to anyone. Also WTF??? When I’m on the ground I have you know I cap more flags then half the team combined!! Infact in Battlefield 1942 the only medal max got on a server when I was on was silver, because I was ducking n diving left right & centre kicking ass and capping flags!!!

Seriously, I would insult your intelligence but that would imply you had any. I can’t help it if people can’t see what I’m getting at, but look at the number of views the thread has got compared to the handfull of people replying. I know some people here will be able to see what I’m getting at, but maybe they’re afraid of posting for getting the same abuse I get. I’m beggining to have doubts about Battlefield and the meatheads it attracts, atleast the RO boys despite being old, grey haired, infertile and having no original teeth have the deceny to respond in an adult manner when the time is needed. That’s not to say they can’t have a laugh and they can’t be naughty, it’s just that they’re not dicks… It’s an open forum for open discussion, you can’t just insult someone because they have an opinion when you’re either too dumb/ignorant/stupid to grasp it and have a proper discussion regarding their concerns.

If you’re going to flame someone, atleast do a good job of it and if you’re going to flame me, never forget that I am holding a can of petrol!! 😈

TBH messy, you of all people cannot comment on “questionable” tactics in BF2. It was mainly because of you that I stopped playing because it got boring being bombed by you or when I did get in a plane I was shot down by you. You would get in a mood if someone told you to stop and so some people stopped playing on the server when you were playing (myself included). At the time it was decided that BF2 sucked because of the inbalances which you exploited, as far as I can see as a neutral observer, Legit is doing the same now in BF214GAY, the only difference is that you are on the receiving end and it just looks like you being a massive hypocrite to me.

Still 2142 is another shitty EA/Dice bag of unfinished shit (seriously all I have ever seen on BF forums is the apologists saying “they’ll fix that in the next patch”).

The point is wolf that i am not complaining and calling people that have dpi profiles on there mouse gamey. This was why legit got the stick he did,
And i stopped flying in bf2 probably about a year ago (with maybe the odd flight once a week if that, on wank island). Welcome to 2006

Claymores (APM’s)
C4-7’ing flag points
Gunship (chopper whoring)
Battlewalker whoring on infantry maps ( 😈 )
Grenade spamming in titan corridors
Drop in vent camping on titans
Titan bombardment of flags (those guns need to have a delayed respawn – not a repair option)
Camping spawn becons rather than destroying them.
Camping that last/any flag rather than making the push to cap it.
And anyone that plays as a sniper 😉

And you are all guilty of doing at least one of the above.

But what’s really fun is killing the person getting the cheap kills 🙂

As for the mouse thing – I use a G5 but the only time I use the on-the-fly adjustment is when I switch between games and windows.

Uping the dpi in game just seems to make everything spin too fast to be of any use.
