    I am about to hit the big 1 year anniversary with my lady friend and thinking about present ideas… shes’s a bloody good artist, but doesnt have the right kit, so thought this would be a good avenue to go down…

    Anyone know of any good stuff to get? Was thinking along the lines of sketching pencils/colours… thinking around £40… ideas?

    buy her an etch-a-sketch. With a bit of luck she hasn’t moved onto using those at school yet and should be very impressed!

    There are plenty of good art shops in London, go to one of those and you’ll find some fancy and expensive painting/drawing stuff.

    I wrote a long reply basically telling you how wonderful I am, and then pressed esc and lost everything!

    Basically, I did the big spend over Valentine day – taking her to Cornwall for a few days… was brill but vvv expensive when paying for 2 rather than 1!

    Also getting her/us tickets to London zoo for our day off (she likes dogs but I cant find anywhere we can … borrow for the day, so this is the next best thing), and I am also getting her some Chloe perfume… hopefully free from work!!

    So there nerrr!

    ain’t gonna be many dogs at London Zoo!!! take her to battersea dogs home, not only cheaper but so many dogs she will love you forever.

    Of course you can visit the dogs! the idea of Battersea dogs home is that it’s somewhere to go to adopt a dog that has been abandoned etc
