Nope, I CTD on a Dutch server twice when trying to join and a german server once when 5mins into a game.
Was on your sever when it crashed though.
This is classic punkbuster failing to autoupdate symptoms…
I will try a manual update tonight. I would have thought I wouldn’t get on any servers if PB was out of date?

Pffft! I’m just getting everyone iced water when it’s my round and then ordering quadruple Jack Daniels with no ice when it’s somebody else’s, and then pouring them into one of several hip flasks I’ll be concealing about my person.
I will get Armoured Fury eventually though, sounds like a good laugh as I think that tank and APC battles are where it’s at. I’d prefer to see the Euro Forces maps in rotation on the server first though.
I’m liking this more & more. All the maps are pretty good esp Harvest and Road rage. Harvest reminds me of ’42 or an FH map. The threat from the air is just about right – ie a minor inconvenience every now and again but the pilots seem to get shot down pretty quick 😀 Tank battles are the name of the game – its strange to see half the team playing engy or AT.
If anyone is umming and ahhing about getting this because of EF then don’t. It urinates from a great height all over the steaming waste of space EF was. 😉
Havent been able to play it much… but I do like the little bird and other… v nippy… and had some great battles on the motorway one.
😀 the maps are pretty sweet , what i saw of them as i was dying every 5 secs lol . 😀 Maybe nOm will come back???? 😀
The maps rocks, especially Road Rage.
But in conjunction with the Patch 1.3. I get more CTD as before (count 6 yesterday in a playtime of 2 hours).looks sweet but the 2 times i’ve been on the server its been empty!!!
I’m also getting some weird artifacts on screen, it only seems to be when i’m either in the little heli or near it i noticed as soon as i got in the A-10 it cleared up………my feeling is that it was just my rig running hot and perhaps the heli’s need more rendering power or summat hence more heat as the gfx card is working harder, its something i shall have to keep an eye on 🙄
Eventually joined ther server last night just as every bugger from XDC disconnected- then got problem with your connection bollox and disconnect- will try and get on tonight for a few rounds.
For those of you that haven’t tried Midnight Sun – you should tis also a good map. In general I AF is quite a nice addon. I wasn’t particularly fussed with it whilst testing but I think that was more to do with the transition of playin regular BF2 and try to get reaquainted with a much more 42 feeling mod.
But the maps are much more open, with some great potential tank battles I think OP Harvest is going to be a classic map on par with El Alamein etc
