Having just got RO and enjoying it massively, and having not played BF” for a couple of months as the server constantly crashes, I was wondering who had RO and who had BF2, and as to wether we would be better off dropping the crap BF2 server and going for an RO server instead? This is just a question as I have noticed quite a few XDC people playing RO and fewer and feewer playing BF2.

What about the obvious option which aint on there…. run both? 🙄 Like we did with CS:S, doesnt have to be either or. Or upgrade to 2142? Or run FH2 when it comes out?
BF2 on the server is still heathly despite the crashes which should be fixed in 1.4. There were at least 7 or 8 of us on there one point last week and we have a strong presence from regulars.
Spugs has said the finances are healthy but we’ve had a few new members since the last call for monies so if some of the newbies would be prepared to contribute then i’m sure there would be a chance of covering two servers. Or 50/50 with 7thDR? Worth investigating.
not another one, I did say that I had noticed fewer people playing BF2 and more playing RO, so thought I’d put the idea out there, based on only being able to afford 1 server, that is
would be nice…but i think a few may come back to bf23284676 or whatever its called, and RO servers aint cheap….am quite happy playing on C3ll, Splat,Wild Bunch servers 😀 😀
See what happins with 2142, Im hopeing it turns out to be another Nam, ie we slagged it off, but found out it was great fun to play.
Plus I wave heard the magic word MORTAR used In conection with Bf 2142 😯 😀
I like BF2, but I’ll play what XDC hosts. There are far too many dullards playing on other servers which in turn are admin’ed by other dullards, so I’d rather stick to playing decent games with decent folks.
I’ll play whatever XDC hosts, but for now I’ll happily stick with BF2.

Fast paced my fucking arsehole.. you only play it because of the stats and because its easy to get stats using Medic .. play a mans game.. and you look like =XDC=PinkShirtWearer .. hence why you dont like it 😀

everytime i load up RO i cant see anyone on me buddies list playing it ?? and yet apparently everyones at it ??
