    I was playing with itchinads tonight and had some problems with bf2142 freezing. After googling this problem it appears quite a few people have had the same problem over the last few days. If you have problems with this this is how i’ve resolved it.

    Uninstall bf2142
    Reload bf2142
    Reload patch 1.25
    Reload northern strike
    Reload patch 1.25

    Hopefully this has resolved it so anyone have this problem try this. 😀

    Don’t know mate. Did the uninstall and reinstalls and have been on xdc server for a run about and it didn’t freeze. It would freeze when i entered the game within about a minute last night.Cant get on tonight so i wont be sure if it has worked properly or not. No one seems to have a proper fix for it yet. Wouldn’t be surprised if its punkbuster related.

    managed to sort it out, total uninstall, registry, the lot!

    yeah i just read somewhere that a normal uninstall doesn’t clear things completely and can leave the problem file on your comp
