I love being commander in this version its just so much, i was playing on the XDC server as soon as we started the map (a map where one side only has a uncap) I order’d the XDC squad (these guys r very good) to completely flank the enemy and take the rear flag causing the enmy commander to split his resources and enable a fast out breal from my uncap.

The rear flag then acted as a magnet drawing the enemy to forget his forward flags and make a desperate attempt to regain the rear, so being a sneaky fecker i order’d my guys to ex pac the rear flag move out and secure all exits from the last two flags…fish in a barrel

We caught the enemy in a pocket locked them completely down love the fact that if the commander spots a enemy not in UAV range you get a point if your team then kills him.

Why did i not find this in bf2..is it a fun?

During a titan map (love this game mode) I took command of the bloody big..well titan and parked in within gun range of three silos meaning we had full gun surport for 60% of the silos, it gets bloody intense in this mode you haev to get sqauds to attack/capture silos before they launch, managed to stop one at 2 seconds. Somehow two people including myself held off the final assualt on r reactor somehow the enemy titan was destroyed bu a strike team after 5 minutes of r core being open, no idea how we won but god its a rush.

Best server to play on atm is XDC’s lots of teamplay.

I seem to remember redfielduk from the 42 or nam days so its nice to see an old name still hanging around. I’ve registered on their forum so perhaps we could arrange a friendly against them sometime………didn’t they bet us in a league game once ??

Think they were started by some ex 7dr lads originally and have the same style of play and admin that we have.

Played on their bf2 server for many happy hours 😀
