I take it you can’t play across platforms? In theory this is one you’d have no advantage on pc vs console.

Nah, it would be great. Agreed, the only thing better IMHO on consoles is sports games. I played Fifa 13 demo on PC and it’s just not as a good a platform for the game.
It’s not bad if you have a game contoller on pc. I had a couple for pro ev back in the day and it worked as well as on ps2, with better gfx. Pretty sure the controllers will still work for fifa these days, and the multiplayer sounds really good, if only I was good at the game. The last fifa I played and enjoyed though was fifa 95 on the megadrive.

That’s soooooo 2008. I would have agreed up till FIFA 2010, since then its been smashing PES. Current FIFA is the pinnical of footy games without doubt. BRING ON THE RINGERS SPROG.
Growing up, I was a massive Pro Eve fan boy. This was for good reason as it was the better game. Fifa had the money to buy the rights to player names etc, but Pro Evo (or ISS if you’re old school) was the superior game. I stopped playing console games around the time where pro evo 2 or 3 came out and I believe it was about this time that FIFA morphed into Pro Evo from a gameplay perspective. For a few years, they were difficult to tell apart and now, I hear that FIFA is the better game. I recently played FIFA 12 for the first time and it’s not a bad football game, but meh.
I was always pro evo player also. I did slip into fifa last few years because it just became better. However almost everywhere i have read about the 2 this years puts pro evo on top. I will be going back to them
PC for me. Better chance of being patched and significantly faster load times on PC (you won’t notice how slowly the consoles are loading the matches unless you’ve played it on PC, it’s not a big problem).
