Well, well…. seems mine was the only accurate prediction of 2-0 England lol!
Very poor first half, has to be said. Beckham is well off form, and the only thing he did all game was that cross for Crouchy to head in. Nice shot by Gerrard, but we should have walked that game…. 2-0 was very flattering, if you ask me…
But, we’re through.
Still, if we play like that in the next round, we’re gonna get slaughtered…
Yup.. well done mate! Was getting a bit worried at the end, thinkin ‘same old England’ but they came thru in the end.
My brothers flew out there this morning (paid 200 notes return for a taxi to Luton airport with a few of their mates..good price WET?) says beer superb!!!!!!

2-0 Flattering?
What game were you watching, the finishing was very poor, I think we were unlucky to not bag 4 or 5. Any other day Lampard would have got at least 2, Crouchie missed at least 2 gilt edged chances, and Owen headed wide. Apart from actually getting the ball in the net we tore them apart.
It’s very hard to score when a team has 11 men behind the ball, and we still created loads of chances. Once we switched from the long ball in to the cross we looked much stronger.

I was watching the same game as the reviewers from The Guardian, who said England’s performance was ‘thoroughly unconvincing’.
