I was thinking thats its a far better game than I ever thought it would be, and i’m enjoying it much more than BF2. It has to one of the most balanced of the BF games and i rank it up there with BFV.
Shame about the CTDs though.

Nahhh Wipey, I am enjoying 2142 a bit, but I am finding it repetative and boring, less tactics, more spray & pray. The maps are far too similar. The game has potential, but lacks polish. And I must say I rather look forward to playing some of the old BF games for a change.
But what I am really looking forward to is something like OFP2 or AA becuse they require a bit more thinking and bit less reflexes.
If they provide some better maps 2142 will be a good game, but things like Titan mode get tedious
wipers bf2142 has to be the most unfinished version of bf yet, and lets face it thats takes some doing.
Your right about the maps though they are alot more balanced than those in bf2, something that has been helped greatly by the lack of dominant air power. Have had some very good games (not on our server as i don’t even try it any more due to lag issues) and its ok for a bit of a blast but not enjoying it as much as previous incarnations.
Shame about the ctd and the serious lag issues and the problems with lost connections with ea master server and…..well its late and i can’t be arsed to list the rest of the problems.
Game has potention but it needs finishing preferably before the release of the next bf franchise 🙄

What cpu have you got? How much ram have you got? How many processors have you got running on the norm?
I think its the best first release to date… tbh.
lol i think pretty much everyone has or has had ctd as well as some of the other issues i’ve been getting
If thats ea’s standard for ‘best release to date’ then they have us well and truly suckered
EDIT: have just checked a ‘local exchange checker’ and mine has been marked as red for what looks like the past couple of months. So its a good possibility that its been adding to the problems of bf2142 😥

Perhaps more game play wise… but I remember crashing to desktop a fare few times during vietnam…
Remember those damn M60s?! (Course you do you whore!) The weapon/vehicle balance of 2142 is by far the best yet… its the first time when air power hasnt completely dominated… and I loves it!

looks like you need to invest in a 360! GOW, COD3, RAWvSMACKDOWN.. all superb and also multiplayer 😀

You get used to the CTD’s I have found :/ unless you have em every 2 mins I reckon
Have to say I like it more than BF2.. more balanced which has been said which makes for a good game imo 🙂
