Hey guys
Some of you may know that I am doing a DVD project with the footage taken out in Uganda. Well heres the thing… I need to know what the song is from this clip…

… then I can merge it seemlessly in to the DVD, and add a groovy effect that will make people feel warm inside.
Its probably some random Ugandan song, that no one has ever heard of, but … crazier things have happend! (If you are embarrassed by the fact that you know the song, then please feel free to pm me!)

Couldnt find who did that version but Im pretty sure that the original was done by The Carpenters and is in dead called The End of the World (the karen carpenter story)

Im also counting on Vic… he seems to know quite alot about obscure music…
OK I just dled on by Vonda Shepard to check and noticed that this is a kind of ballad version so Im hunting out that nasty reggae sounding one now.

This is Sonias version and is also a bit ballady so unless perhaps it was a tacky Stock Aitken and Waterman remix who knows
perhaps its someone called Julie LondonYeah, it’s definitely that Carpenter’s track remixed. There was a remix made in 1990 I think, but I don’t have a copy myself.
Track was originally sung by some country dude called Skinny Whitman back in 63 so its older than you think. Crap all the same tho 😛

sound like the sonia lyrics have been speeded up (BPM) and stuck on a reggae mix – Easy DJ stuff
I bet munkee or spunker will be able to better than that with the original karen carpenter track and maybe some lee scatch perry??!
If someone can mimic the music to the track, and finish it off somehow for me… then I would be happy… and I would add you to the credits!
