I have been getting the occasional lock up in game (BF2142).
It only lasts for about a minute at a time and as I say is very occasional.
Have any of you experienced this? if so how did you fix it.
Can post specs if req’d.

not experienced the lock ups………..had crash to desktops, random kicks from server, certain keys not working; crouch button refusing to work sometimes, othertimes i can’t get ingame voip to work because the button won’t function etc etc.
Do you have anti-virus software running in the background or any other memory intensive proggies that may be kicking up whilst your playing ?? Windows update used to cause similar problems a few years back, i’ve had it disabled for a few years now so am not sure if its still causing problems……….just a few ideas. 😛@=XDC= wild egg tamer wrote:

Just don’t be surprised if you’re ever in a vehicle with me and I drive straight over a cliff or start trying to drive through a building.
It doesn’t happen often enough to put me off the game just curious if anybody else was getting it.
I do have everything set to ultra high which probably isn’t helping 😀
hehe dont worry if you CTD in a vehicle and killing folk – if you’re ina vehicle and CTD the passengers CTD with you 😛 Everyone else in the server is fine though….
