Ok… my flat mates have started to get kicks out of scaring the shit out of each other – and me!.. Basically it involves hiding out side of a room and screaming when someone passes – said person (usually me…) then craps themself!
Well Ive had enough, and have thought of a great way to have my vengance. One of my flat mates is a huge fan of the TV prog Lost. I usually download the episodes, and then send them to him over MSN. Now poor old Phil isnt very computery minded, so probably wouldnt realise a difference in file size if I was to “edit” one of the episodes! I am in the middle of sending him 23/24 at the moment, whilst also encoding 24 in to something I can edit in movie maker. Basically what I want to do is scare the shit out of him with a clip, either home made or downloaded, and lots of loud scary sounds (I presume I can lower the sound of the Lost clip so that he raises his speaker volume… and then boost the sound of the “scary clip”… so that it has a full effect. If I get the timing right – and input my clip in an area of suspense – of which there are many in the final episode… hopefully I can achieve full “shit in pants” factor!
So Basically I was wondering if anyone knew of any scary clips either sound or video, or both that I could use… Perhaps you could make your own, and the best one makes it in to the final feature! If I set it up right, I will be able to film the effects on my camcorder, and then post him shitting his pants all over the net…

Apparently we have a scare competition going 1 point for a scare, -1 point for being the target… and then bonus points for style… I got 2 points at the same time a couple of hours ago… this one will be pretty fooking cool if i can pull it off…
Ok I have created a dummy version… will upload it in a second… the real one will be of much better quality – this scares the shit out of me, and I frigging made it!!

The bit in question is very near the end – so fast forward – I couldnt get it to reduce without losing the scary part!
Notice how the sound gets quieter slowly until the scary part!
i watched it but didn’t see any scary bit…………had the sound down as i’ve not seen lost at all and may get it on DVD box set at some point.
Any chance you can post the timeline at which the scary bit happens….ta very much 😉

Did this years ago, lass I was seeing was leaving the student house and one drunken nite we all climbed into the loft and found loads of clothes and stuff.
As they were moving out, I had an idea out of the clothes we made a guy, slung a rope up over the raffters and Hung it, then took the bulb out of the loft light and for final finishing extra, put some ham and fish fingers int the guy’s pockets.
Now you’ll have to do this when they are all out, and wait for the affect to work.
