I have posted this issue on teamspeak forum but wanted your guys thoughts?
For some reason, peoples voices on team speak, dont sound very good. Its similar to, if you reduce quality due to bandwith. I have disabled the onbaord audio chip (ac97) and uninstaledre-installed TS. I have also re-installed the X-Fi audio card with the latest drivers, but no joy, even the sound ingame is fine??? Am I missing a trick here.
have you checked the sound source within TS ? is it set to x-fi ?
sound driver should be set to direct & SB X-Fi Audio [DCxx]
make sure force 8 bit is not ticked.check the bandwidth setting as well, test it on unlimited.

Itchi and I went through all the settings with Max yesterday (both X-Fi users) and his settings were the same as ours. Its a mystery!!

Max is a farking hazard to all pc kit, he should be banned from touching it.

Does Multiplay host the TS server? Do they offer Ventrilo by chance? Reason why I bring it up, is that vent is a lot better as for sound quality. It lacks some of the features that TS offers, but as for sound quality, vent sounds a lot better.
