Solaris for me, Clooney spent too much time thinking about getting blown off by his dead wife and with me thinking about clooney getting blown out of an airlock..
December 1, 2006 at 9:05 am #37013XDCNeonSamuraiParticipantI generally don’t avoid watching films ‘cos they look bad, but because I know they’re gonna wind me up. Here’s the ones I’ve avoided thus far:
Legally Blonde
Legally Blonde 2
First Wives Club
Monster
The Colour Purple
Steel Magnolias
Powder
Any film which involves peacful aliens being ‘misunderstood’
Any film with the tag line ‘follow your heart’ or ‘be true to your heart’December 1, 2006 at 10:50 am #37014CowboyUKParticipant@=XDC=MADMAX wrote:
Oh, and the film with all the dykes going to some cave, getting eaten by these gollum look-a-likes! Totally over rated shite.
The Descent? I thought it was pretty good horror film to be honest.

December 1, 2006 at 12:30 pm #37016sickofitallParticipantEternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. At least I think that’s what it was called.
“Oh, it’s so sadâ€ÂÂÂ, “ooh relationships are complicatedâ€ÂÂÂ, “ooh I’m a big girls blouse†–fuck right off. Cry some more emo. Jesus – get a fucking grip!
Oh, and by the way Mr Director, 5 minute camera shots of Jim Carey looking out of a train window at the rain is shit boring. That as well.
If anyone badly needed a dirty bog shag to get over the fact that his bird just punted him it was the fucking numbnut who did this film.

Reminds me of the time I pupped a bird in the Ladies loo of Diggers Grill in Pretoria. Some waitresses noticed the noise and raised the alert. When we came out we had an audience. It was a bit awkward because I used to work there and was hence known to the waitresses as “Cockroach”. Not that I gave a fuck, mind, as the bird was hot to trot and I for one, never let an opportunity pass, plus, I was so pissed that I have no idea what state the bog was in, just that I was in it.

Rotweiler – ok i lied.. this stank worseDecember 1, 2006 at 1:57 pm #37019sickofitallParticipantHere’s a top tip for any single blokes out there who don’t fancy the idea of having sloppy seconds off a girl who’s been having dirty bog sex. All you have to do is go in there with all your mates whilst they’re half way through and all simultaneously hoik your beers into the stall.
Then, at the 5 to 2 rush at the end of the night you just need to avoid the trunter that looks and smells like she’s been dragged across a brewery floor.
This tip was told to me by some bloke I must have met somewhere once at some point. I’d never get involved with anything like that. No way.

Badger, that’s a horrid, horrid thing to say! You’ve hurt my feelings. I’m going to have a little cry now.
“And then… (sniff) And then Badger said I liked (sniff) girly films.”“Cheer up Neon. Would it make you feel better if you fetched me a beer and made dinner whilst I watched the footie?”
“(Sniff) Yeah…”

The Machinist,
One Hour Photo,
Momento.
Would rather eat my own ass than watch these films again. Films that try to be to clever get right on my TaTa’s.December 1, 2006 at 7:47 pm #37025xdc magickerParticipantdate movie- turned it off after 30 mins what was alison doing in this film!!
