World cup fantasy football league, rules as published in ‘The Sun’ newspaper.

News paper contains list of players and an associated monetary value for each one and their playing position.

Paper gives you X amount of cash and stipulates you may only have 1 goalie, 4 defenders, 3-4 mid-fielders and 2-3 strikers.

You then select a team from the players on the list, within the limits of the money given.

Players are then rated by the paper following games and assigned a points value of 1-10 (i think).

At the end of the tournement paper will publish a list (runing totals also published daily no doubt) of players scores.

Whoever selected a team with the highest total score is a winn0r and goes on to become a national celebrity.

Take it they don’t have this sort of thing in France?

(Sun’s had one for the Premier League for the last 7-8 years I think)
