    OK I give up!

I have been trying for bloody ages to get a couple of vids on youtube but after waiting hours for the bloody things to upload it either fails to do so at the end or tells that that it cant translate it from the format i uploaded.

what the hell do I need to do?

I have tried WMV files / microsoft avi files / divx files

    where I am going wrong?
the vids are less them 10 mins in length and less than the 1 gig limit (the last attempt was 200 mb)

    help meeeeeee please

possbly you just picked a bad moment to access them. Youtube is notoriously bad when there is heavy traffic or they are doing maintenence that you are not aware of. just try again at another time and perhaps it will resolve itself if not the i’ll look into it
PS you aint going to get anywhere with any help from us without putting the links of the vids you want here

i have switched premiere pro 4 in the hope that it might help

i have found an export to youtube setting in the h624? settings. however this looks pretty crappy settings. I will give this is shot and see if it works..

i cant believe how hard this is? ffs millions of people use bloody youtube. how hard can it be.

it does not help that it takes about 3 hours to upload a couple of hundred megs. they must cap the upload speed at their end.

Oops should have read the question better 😕
look for a prog called Doctor Divx. The quality settings are good and it really reduces the filesize
I dont think they are making new versions of it but it should be available if you look for it. you should be able to get ti down to about 100meg
I’m not sure but it sounds like it seems to be timing out or something?
