Turks my old Radeon 9800 could run COD4 lol and thats the bare minimum required to run it. I now have my X1950XTX and it runs pretty much the same except I am running at 1600×1200 instead of 1024×768 🙂

Its a very well designed game from the hardware point of view and scales very well. Hell i cant run TF2 at 1600×1200, fps dies on it when it gets busy.

As far as I am aware its down to the graphics driver. The list of resoulutions I got was different depending on the driver installed lol, although it should normally be picked up from your graphics cards abilities and your monitors abilities.

I would thought widescreen would be fine as theres various options for widescreen and so on in TF2.

I am running at 1280×1024 quite nicely on my 21″ Sony Triniton monitor 🙂 not much of a fan of these widescreen screens yet.

    Qtracker shouldnt sell out,

They guy who wrote Clanforge (SteveP) has done a fair amount of the coding on it and wants to keep it the way it is 🙂

    They were

    CTF Turbine
    CTF Stronghold
    CP Castle

Also CTF Well which we didnt play but is like Doom with its textures (dont confuse with CP Well, totally different map)

The files have to be by the power of 2, I think, Gonzo had a topic on their forum about it and you may have seen their banners.

so things like 1024×128 and so on I think. The file format is the same as the spray logo’s.

I havent done anything on the mappnig side as been busy i am afraid, sorry.

    Hehe

Yeah Castle is a good map to play along with stronghold too. We have the map timer turned of on ours which seems to make the game much more predictable now rather than the time running out and the map changing without warning.
