Same problem here. I find that if I want to scan for tanks/helis up ahead I look to the side and they appear in the corner of the screen but dissapear if I look at them head on at about 300m+

Dont try and get pedantic on my ass you twat… I didnt invent the nomenclature for these things. The guy who showed me his guns called the 270 a 270 and the point 22 a point 22. I believe this is actually quite prevalent – though I may be wrong on that score. Why the ‘point 22’ is given its decimal status when other calibres arent is a mystery to me 🙂
.22 maybe because that would equal 5.5mm and .177 because it would equal 4.5mm
If you don’t give it the decimal then your are in theory not stating the correct calibre, it’s just down to laziness…
