agree with what insane is saying about all chasing the ball around….i will add we need short sharp slick passing…..one touch stuff….we play too many chipped through balls…..meat and drink for defenders….one touch along the ground is whats required…..all the goals scored against us are square passes across the 6 yd box….yet we seem unable to get ourselves into those positions.
when push comes to shove though, its still funny playing this game online with y’all so i dont really care.

slotted into central midfield in the ‘general’ role…..and has just weighed in with a decisive 2nd goal in a 2-1 win against supposedly superior opposition.
all this following a comfortable 3-0 win.

i also weighed in with my 5th goal for the ringers and no doubt my best goal yet with a 30yd screamer in off the post !
as the old saying goes….football is a game of confidence….and it certainly felt that way in the 2nd game….our oppos looked better on paper….plenty of showboating….but the ole pooper tended to tighten up in front of goal though……good stuff

Having done that for BF2 spending £600 large in the process, i dont think i will be making the same mistake again…..something along the lines of ‘once bitten’ i think…….
i was amazed when i asked Judgeh recently if my pc would run a football manager game and was informed no !!!
sorry but that business plan is comepletely unsustainable…..you are going to lose customers like myself who feel ripped off !
at the time i upgraded for BF2 my pc was all singing and all dancing….i would have expected it to last 3-4 years at least……lo and behold 6 fuggin months later GFXBLAHDEBLAH comes out which renders it useless…..seriously WTF is all that about ??
i was just unlucky i guess…..but quite simply i wont be falling for it again…..not when its the games that improve on the XBOX…..not necessarily the hardware, or if it is the hardware it does it itself everytime its turned on !

after a promising 3-2 89th minute winning start tonight……the ringers absolutely fuckin fell apart ending with an 8-1 tonking at the hands of some online muppetts !
probably some prepubescent teenagers no doubt !!
we had sick of it all, lammie,space myself…..and our supposed secret weapon hornet danny fighting it out to grab some respectability…..but alas im afraid to report it all went to pot !!
our ‘pro’ footballers all seem to have concrete in their boots compared to the nippy skillful opponents we keep coming up against…..while these cunts are performing all their tricks including one dood with a white afro doing keepy ups in the middle of the park…….our boys representing XDC seem to be wallowing in quicksand !
our record stands at won 2 drawn 1 lost………………….. 9 !!!
all that said…..in the last game i had tears running down my face as as my defender fell over his own onrushing keeper as they slammed in the eighth !
basically its been decided amongst us playing together that i am a liability at the back and i was told to to stay up front…..another drawback is that as a striker i cant really score any goals either ! not a good fuggin combo really !!
my main contribution was getting sent off in the 8-1 dicking which allowed me to go as ‘any’ player on the field and as i described much laughs were had as i fumbled my way around around letting our oppo’s score at will including 1 screamer form 45 yards out into the top corner !
giraffe fc (the team we beat first game) will be having sleepless nights when they realise who turned them over……but in true XDC fashion…..the laughs were long and hard…..and im nowhere near finished with this game yet…..would be great if sick of it all can get his connection sorted……and possibly maybe get a decent striker up front !! someone to bag a few goals !
mind you it could be worse…..lammie was dropped to the bench for running off to answer the phone continually……we gave him a broom and told him to sweep up the dressing rooms 😆

i recomend that the ultimate winner of the first inaugral XDC league title……gets to choose the ‘any’ option when we go online on ‘be a pro’
im not having a dig at anyone in anyway…..all im saying is if we are going to have any success online, you need your best fifa player controlling the ‘any’ option.
for that reason you can count me out of ever going ‘any’ im too weak in the tackle….dogy knees ya see !

also if you know of any fifa playing mates on xbox 360, see if they want to sign up for the ringers, they will need to have a ‘be a pro’ footballer set up, and we are looking to get 10 players together to take it online, if they are rubbish they can go in goal 😆
I Signed up for the league and for the ringers last night
im in the league as charlton, i also sent out invites to lammie and sick of it all…..to enter the league or join the pro team we are setting up go too……
xbox live/pro club or friends leagues……you should be able to join both from in there….the hub i think its called.
lets get it on !!!
