i was going to suggest we move away from teh wabbit…
i just got an invoice from corbis as one of my customers used a 1cm by 1cm image on their site.. they demanded 900 quid!!!
so perhaps if we can stay away from images we dont own :0

well there are still good eps and average eps..
you are right.. something dramatic is needed it cant just go on as it is. I am hoping with news of a new season they might up their game and start taking some risks.
to be honest since they increased julia benson’s role i stopped following the story lines
i agree that it might have been best as a one off masterpiece (except the ending of season 1 would need to have been wayyyy better)
however, the 2nd half of season 4 was rather enjoyable.
in the end went for the roccat analogue 5.1
initially i was a bit unimpressed as the sound was a bit iffy and my supreme fx 2 sound card (read realtech onboard crap pretending to be something else) looked like the weak point. there was no ability to send the base to the sub so music sounded crap.. games were ok mind you
i installed a creative x-fi and tested that out.. spot on!!
so long as you have a half decent sound card i think you will like these.. a bit pricey but the build quality is rock solid and very comfortable.. not tested the mic out yet.. need to get on ts to see how that works out
for the 1st time in a long time i can locate people in game based on the sounds i am hearing.. been a long time since this was the case.
now i have the best of both worlds.. my 5.1 monster surround sound speaker set is plugged into the onboard sound card and my 5.1 headphones are plugged into the x-fi so no compromise all round
apparently the pirated copies popup a message stating something like :
“hi we know you nicked it and that’s fine but you can donate here”
i hear they have raised over 1m selling this thing.. i am going to get it.. and donate..
very good idea and so glad it is working for them

however, a bit unrealistic. At no point did i hear anyone bitching about snipers or lack of team work and there were far too many players on line at once for a console game.
the lagging was spot on
