Alcohol 120% – works for games too then lets you mount them on a virtual drive (upto a shitload of them)
MMM Army nosh, been a while since I had me some of that ๐ Shame I’ll probably never have it again but bleh hehe.
Pretty much all of my RL m8s joined the Army, some even died, the ones which died young an even bigger shame.
But good luck to you and make sure you’re cannonfodder as soon as possible – that’s where all the fun is at!!
The claymore isn’t lame, it’s how it’s used. Planting it on enemy spawnpoints so they die the second they spawn is of course lame, but using it to defend is what they’re all about. Whether they’re used to defend objectives or sniping positions is irrelevant. Unlike the support sentry, these can only ever gain a finite number of kills whilst they sentry can kill everyone on the enemy team and then some.
Now you have got the hang of planting the claymores sneakily where they can’t be seen, you need to master planting them in places where they can be seen to take it to the next level ๐
When they’re visible, they can buy that all-important time needed to get your ass back into position for defence whilst they stumble around trying to get past. The downside is they wil lblow sooner or later which means you have to risk being nade spammed whilst dropping another. Of course that in itself is NOT the next level ๐
What you need to do now is start planting them in small corridoors where they can be blatantly spotted, but the cacth is you face them AWAY from the enemy and towards yourself. This may sound crazy, but it will buy you even more time because they will test the water to see if it goes off then give up, then try again. What is also good is those that dare to be stupid will fail, because as soon as they run past it thinking it’s a dud they’re as good as dead ๐ Those clever enough to find another way around will also inevitably get killed by it on their way back out haha. In BF2 that’s as good as you’ll get, but on 2142 you can take this too the next level of lethality ๐
You continue the step above placing the facing claymore AWAY from the enemy, preferably at the entrance to titan console corridoors. Then you plant an RDX pack hidden infront of it. As they keep coming in groups testing the waters to see if the claymore pops, blow your RDX packs ๐ The claymore will survive so you won’t have to find a support to rearm hehe, but of course you will eventually run out of RDX packs then switch to grenades. When they’re also gone you have to leave your post and start running with your knife out, prawning them from behind as they look gormlessly at the claymore ๐
Master these steps and you will graduate from LeGIt’s school of Claymores 8)

Actually, I did. I’ve met Sujoy, won I-Games (now VGA) tournaments and prizes (which I might add never actually materialised bah!) and even won tournaments on games I played for the first time ever at that moment. The only reason I’m not romping and stomping there now is because of playing with these folk on BYGames years ago molded me into someone who actually gives a crap whether or not someone else is having fun, so I can’t go back to those tournaments with the mindset I have now because I would just suck.

As for b) well a helicopter is there and if I didn’t use it, someone else who would just suck will. Yes I do like to be a chopper whore, but I also do like to be on the ground. “OMG there is a helicopter in the game, lets not use it and insult anyone who has the skills to turn the tide of the battle!!” Yeah… hmmm ok… nice plan.. you win at life!!
The fact is when chopper whoring landing the helicopter is the first big mistake you can ever make – it makes you a hell of a lot more of an easier target which means you’ll probably die and won’t be of much use to anyone. Also WTF??? When I’m on the ground I have you know I cap more flags then half the team combined!! Infact in Battlefield 1942 the only medal max got on a server when I was on was silver, because I was ducking n diving left right & centre kicking ass and capping flags!!!

I have EVERY right and don’t you forget that. Infact even by my own standards sometimes my actions are borderline, but the difference is I don’t cross the line. Seriously, I would insult your intelligence but that would imply you had any. I can’t help it if people can’t see what I’m getting at, but look at the number of views the thread has got compared to the handfull of people replying. I know some people here will be able to see what I’m getting at, but maybe they’re afraid of posting for getting the same abuse I get. There is NOTHING wrong with a mouse having an extra button, but there can be EVERYTHING wrong with what that button does. Can you all not distinguish that yet โ
I’m beggining to have doubts about Battlefield and the meatheads it attracts, atleast the RO boys despite being old, grey haired, infertile and having no original teeth have the deceny to respond in an adult manner when the time is needed. That’s not to say they can’t have a laugh and they can’t be naughty, it’s just that they’re not dicks… It’s an open forum for open discussion, you can’t just insult someone because they have an opinion when you’re either too dumb/ignorant/stupid to grasp it and have a proper discussion regarding their concerns.
If you’re going to flame someone, atleast do a good job of it and if you’re going to flame me, never forget that I am holding a can of petrol!! ๐

Havign a good PC doesn’t mean you will kick ass ๐ if anything it means you will be able to load in the game some time today and have things not too ugly, but fog etc are still set to the same distances for all. good hardware in itself won’t actually make you any better at playing the game, it just helps make the game more enjoyable. I actually preferred playing 1942 in 800 x 600 even though my PC could do it in 1600 x 1200 ๐
Ok lets not call it cheating as it can be a strong word, but one word that does fit is lame. It’s on the same lines a spawn camping and base raping in that the game does allow it as a legal move, but your ethics and sportsmanship should tell you otherwise.
Console games are designed as such so that everyone has the same spec machine and peripherals so everyone is at the same standing and their talent sets them apart, which is only fair as the battlefield is about skill.
Now anyone who is a big enough noob with a big enough wallet can buy a peripheral that can severely outperform theirs… does that mean if you get killed by someone with a super-mouse that they have skill?? Probably not ๐ But why would they give a shit if they’re prawning your ass left right and centre anyway. If someone really didn’t like their sensitivity they can just adjust it in the settings.
Fair enough the consumer needs choice, but that can be done in build quality, colours, LED’s and other kinds of crap instead of adding ‘omg I’m 1337 because I press this and I get 1000 points’ turbo-fire style buttons =/

Got my L4 NPC Raven skill plan training…
Planned it so I get the T2 fittings before the BS so I can use them to pimp my Ferox, get the skill required to fly the new Caldari Kali BC L2 and give me my shiny new Raven on my Birthday ๐ T2 Vespa Drones to follow Cruise misisles, after that will proabbly buff up missile skills a bit.

I then used the program to make an image then mount it on a virtual drive. Seriously it’s probably the best legal program of it’s kind out there (especially in combination wiht a Lite On drive) and was well worth the รฦรโรยขรขโยฌร ยกรฦรขโฌลกรโรยฃ30.
I got a shitty 6gb hard drive off insane in 2004 though – I could bung the Image on there and mail you the HDD?
